Most reliable, high performance bread shaver for every day use
I've used the Phillips Norelco Beard Trimmer 7000 series since college (I'm now in late 30s). It is the only tool I use to maintain my facial hair and bread. The twistable dial setting (raises the guard up and down to align with the length you want) vs having to manually take off and replace guards makes shaving insanely easy. The hair trapping mechanism prevents stubble from landing all over your sink. Powerful output gets a smooth fade everytime without need to go over same area for many passes. Portable, charges quickly with excellent battery life, and longevity. I've had the model prior to this one for 7+ years before I needed to replace it. Would recommend highly.

This trimmer is garbage the older design was perfect his is CHEAP FLIMSY PLASTIC
My old Norelco BeardTrimmer Series 5000 (BT5511/49) finally broke after many years of use. It was an excellent trimmer that worked perfectly for my coarse facial hair. Naturally, I went online and bought what I thought was the same trimmer—the newest and most expensive Norelco model. Unfortunately, it was one of the biggest wastes of money. Norelco clearly cut corners with the newer design. The adjustment wheel no longer lights up, so you have to hold it up to a light just to read the length setting. The guards are made of flimsy plastic that bends and simply glides over the hair instead of lifting it. My original trimmer had guards with more pronounced teeth that actually lifted the hair, resulting in a much more even cut. These new guards feel so fragile that I wouldn't be surprised if they snapped within a few months. To make matters worse, the most expensive model is now almost entirely plastic, whereas my old trimmer had a much sturdier, premium feel with metal construction. Drop this one a couple of times, and I wouldn't expect it to survive. This is shrinkflation at its finest. Norelco took a product that used to be exceptional and replaced it with a cheaper version, hoping customers wouldn't notice. Unfortunately, they did. If you have coarse facial hair, be aware that this trimmer tends to glide over the hair instead of cutting it evenly, which means you'll spend more time trying to get a consistent trim. Norelco needs to bring back the quality that made these trimmers worth buying instead of trying to maximize profits by using cheaper materials. When you're wondering why sales are declining, this is why. Customers notice when quality disappears. I'm requesting a refund, and I'll be sending this feedback directly to Norelco as well. It's hard enough to find a trimmer that works well with my hair texture, and now I have to start the search all over again. Do better, Norelco. Bring back the original quality, and I'd gladly pay a premium price. This version is cheap, poorly made, flimsy, cuts corners, gives patchy cutting and designed to wear out instead of lasting for years.

Shaver
Better than tbe manscape other shaver in terms of quality by a small amount. Wheel thing for control of length is kinda clunky and can't see the numbers on it very well at all.
