This book is very technical, but there's a lot of useful knowledge for the DAW musician.There's none better for preparing for the 310M exam, which is the main purpose of the book.All of the material is aimed at preparing the reader to configure, maintain, and run a professional-level studio for audio or post-production but even if most of your work is done at home, as long as you have HD-level software this book will give you some hefty chops.

I recommend this book only to people who studied in ALP (Avid Learning Partner) and they have aproved the certification 210M

A GREAT BOOK BUT MORE AIMED AT PRO TOOLS HDX SYSTEMS THE TITLE I FEEL IS A BIT MISS LEADING AS I WOULDNT SAY THERES ALOT ABOUT ADVANCED PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED THIS BOOK PRO TOOLS HD FOR KNOB HEADZ HEHE

Comprehensive book, very useful to learn advanced techniques for pro tools 10. Exercises on the DVD helps a lot as well. Totally satisfied with tis item.
