Connected directly, set up quickly, and starts instantly with the car's ignition and infotainment system. Simple and works. Instructions not very thorough, and the plastic packaging box was broken in transit, but neither are a functional problem with the device itself. Audio quality is as good as Bluetooth can offer, and passes through interaction with a smartphone's music player through the infotainment controls and menus.

Best purchase, I have an Audi 2010 and I got a wire before this but the sound was not good, with this adapter I can listed to my music really loud!!! I love it Easy to install, gits just right on my car, every time I turn on the car it works right away, no problems with function

Second update. I figured out the the crazy logic of my 2014 A5 media system. Patience is the first thing needed. Adapter did exactly what it was supposed to do. 5 stars. Update: I increased my score to 4 stars from 3. I have learned to adapt how I use my phone on the internal bluetooth and the bluetooth link provided by Invery. My Audi A5 comes with bluetooth for phone, but not for media. This adapter is intended to connect to the Multimedia system and play music (Pandora) thru the sound system. It did. I thought the solution was at hand. It needed me to adapt. After about a week of successful use, I was no longer able to make phone calls thru my cars system. Somehow the signals were getting crossed and the phone would simply disconnect after dialing. After disconnecting the adapter my phone system returned to normal. I did contact the vendor to see if there is a solution. They have been helpful in helping me findind a way to make this work. It does. If not seamlessly.

I have since moved on to a built-in CarPlay solution, but I used this Bluetooth unit for just over a year before that. By and large it worked great. Connected right away and the audio was great. Two issues prevent me from giving it a full five stars though. One is it didn’t always connect to the auxiliary port so I would have no option to select it. I would have to toggle Bluetooth on my phone to force it to reconnect for it to show up. Also, after your car is shut off, it stays powered on so if you are in the vicinity of it in your house, it will connect until you forcefully disconnect it.

Working great so far I bought a competitors device a year ago and only worked about 30% of the time. I’m hopeful this will work out better.

This is a solid product and much needed for any Audi without in-built Bluetooth. I haven’t had any issues with it after a week of use. It allows me to still use the car’s phone Bluetooth and switches back to music audio with no problem. It also starts as soon as the car starts which is a huge plus. Sound quality is pretty crisp. Some drawbacks are that it’s interface with all applications besides Apple Music is buggy, which is fine with me because that’s all I use anyway. Also it doesn’t disconnect when you turn the car off. But all you have to do to get around that is turn your phone Bluetooth off once you get out. The last is the price. It’s a little too expensive but honestly what else are we going to do but get this to play sound in our car through our phones. Besides that this is a solid product. EDIT: After a few months of use, this product has basically become useless to me now. Whenever I get in my car, it does not connect. Most times, I need to disconnect the Bluetooth and retry again. If that doesn’t work then I take the device out and put it back again. If that doesn’t work, I restart my phone. But often, it doesn’t even connect after that. And if it does, it will only be good for that one car ride, but as soon as you drive the car again, you’ll have to repeat the entire process again. But in reality, all this is pretty ridiculous to play sound from my phone for a product priced at $70+. My advice: buy a radio Bluetooth receiver. You won’t get the music to show up on the dashboard, but it will be a lot more reliable and cheaper.

Purchased (off a different Amazon account) for a 2011 Audi A4. It was super easy to set up, and it sounds okay, not as good as a car with Bluetooth already installed, of course. My issues with this: 1. If I pause music on my iPhone XR, it will pause for a second then continue playing. It apparently has to be paused on the car’s stereo to pause. 2. It will display the first song’s title when it is first connected, and not update when the song changes. It will continuing counting up until the song is over, then restart with the next song’s time but again, not switch the song title. 3. I tried to record an accident on my phone the other day, but apparently when this is hooked up, you can’t record a video. Smart in most senses, expect for the reason I was trying to record in the first place. 4. When I play music in the car, turn the car off and try to play music via Bluetooth on my JBL speaker, my phone will continue trying to connect to the Invery Bluetooth. I have to manually “disconnect” the Invery device multiple times, as it will keep hooking up to the car and play music in a black hole somewhere. This may sound like a phone issue but I have 4 other vehicles with either built in Bluetooth or a Bluetooth accessible device and it happens with none of them. 5. This may just be because of my specific car, but it doesn’t hook your calls up, so you’ll have to battle the radio to answer the phone. 6. The price is insane for a mediocre product. I am planning to return once I find a better alternative, because I thought I could get over all these issues but they’re driving me insane two weeks in.

Il prezzo non è bassissimo ma devo dire che il risultato è veramente buono. Si connette semplicemente e consente di associare qualsiasi sorgente audio esterna. Funzionano benissimo i comandi dell'auto sia per volume che per ricerca avanti e indietro. L'audio e veramente ottimo. Lo tengo sempre collegato dentro al vano porta oggetti e dopo qualche mese di utilizzo posso dire che funziona benissimo e si è sempre connesso all'avvio dell'auto senza problemi.

​Ich war anfangs wirklich skeptisch, da man im Netz wenig Konkretes findet, ob dieser Adapter wirklich sauber mit dem Mercedes-System funktioniert. Aber ich wurde absolut positiv überrascht! ​Mein Setup: Mercedes Viano (W639) mit dem Radio Audio 20 und dem Ausstattungscode EH0 (Media Interface im Handschuhfach). ​Einbau & Funktion: Einfacher geht es nicht: Eingesteckt, Handy per Bluetooth verbunden und es hat sofort funktioniert. Das Radio erkennt den Adapter sofort als iPod. Das Beste daran ist die Zuverlässigkeit: Sobald ich die Zündung einschalte, verbindet er sich und Spotify spielt direkt da weiter, wo es aufgehört hat. ​Bedienung & Qualität: ​Lenkrad/Radio: Ich kann Titel bequem über das Multifunktionslenkrad oder die Tasten am Radio weiterschalten. ​Titelanzeige: Ja, die Anzeige ist nicht 100% perfekt, aber das liegt am alten Audio 20 Radio, das die Metadaten von Spotify wohl nicht ganz sauber verarbeiten kann. Für mich ist das "Meckern auf hohem Niveau". ​Klang: Die Wiedergabequalität ist hervorragend und glasklar. ​Fazit: Der Preis hat mich erst abgeschreckt, aber nach meinen Erfahrungen mit einem 15€-Teil (das nur funktionierte, wenn der Mond im richtigen Winkel stand...), ist dieser Adapter jeden Cent wert. Er hat mir den teuren Umbau auf ein anderes Radio erspart.

I have a 2011 Audi A5 Coupe and this works perfectly with the Audi Media Integration unit in the glove box. It connects automatically when the car is turned on and steering wheel controls work. Brilliant piece of kit for an older car.

It's working for my 2010 Q7 which has MMI 3G High. Plug and play, also no issues to connect with the newest iPhone. The track info appears also on the car MMI and you can control track list on your MMI (steering wheel included).
