Devotions to the Saints

i needed a prayer book with other saints beside saint joseph, the blessed virgin, st anthony and the rest. this is the book that i need. it gives the biographies of the saints, and also who to pray for a specific need.

A great book that is very helpful. I recommend it to anyone interested in this important subject!

I do NOT like Annariva books!!! they are wayyyyy too watered down for me some info is useable but most isnt

While this is an Anna Riva book I would agree with the person who commented that its moslt likely her best. Its nice to find small books like this with prayers that can be added to personal work and devotion. There are many saints presented here including many of the commonly worked saints in Hoodoo. I use it sometimes when looking for an appropriate prayer or devotion. This book is also ideal to use with 7-day religous candles.

This book is one of the better Riva books (and that is not saying much!)....aside from typos and bad printing, there are a few inaccuracies and errors in the information presented. This book is something you give to someone whom is a bookworm and already has everything! Not a great piece of literature nor anything remotely scholastic.

This book is a wonderful collection of each the saints' attributes and prayers in mind for that particular saint, also tells which days the saints rules on and how to perform everyday simple rituals that mostly involve candle. It is defenitely worth the small investment.
