Silicone Rubber Platter Mat
The product is my second one bought for another vintage table I own and have restored (Harman Kardon ST-7). The mat is top quality in being a perfect replacement for my table. I like the pliability, the size is same as original, it looks more like the one HK used on the ST-8. It's a great universal platter mat and for the price paid it's unbeatable in my opinion! I love it with my table. The thickness does not throw off my VTA at all so I don't have to make changes to cartridges spacing either.

Works perfectly
Didn't pay enough attention to realize this is the size of a full size record, whereas the record player I have has a tray that is the size of a 45 that the record sits on. Luckily some scissors very quickly cut this to fit and now it works perfectly, so it essentially fits any size record player lol.

Cost-friendly upgrade to a stock felt mat
The Turntable Mat has been a good upgrade over the stock felt mat. I bought this to replace the felt mat on my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon, mainly to improve static control and add a bit more mass. The felt mat would sometimes lift off with the record, which was annoying, and this completely solves that issue. Records stay put, and handling feels much more controlled. The mat has a nice weight to it without being overly thick. Importantly, it did not change my VTA, so there was no need to adjust anything after installing it. Fit is spot on for the platter, it looks nice and clean, and it sits perfectly flat. Static has been slightly reduced compared to felt. If you want to move on from a felt mat, and are looking for a decent and cost-friendly option, this is a simple, effective upgrade that works exactly as intended.

Perfect Design
I thought I was loosing my hearing or I needed new speakers. Not any more. I needed a 7" rubber mat without the small raised area at the spindle hole that you find on other brands. I wanted this pad to be smooth and flat so my 45 spindle adopters would lay good and flat. I purchased this mat and carefully cut out the inner portion for a perfect rubber mat for 45 singles. I put this on a 12" acrylic mat so I won't need to worry about dropping the stylus outside the small drop area on 45's. I put the acrylic platter smooth side up as this rubber mat has the depression needed for the record label. So far, so good. I ordered another one of these rubber mats for 12" 33's. This will eliminate any adjustment for the tonearm height when switching between 45's and 33's. I replaced the cork mat I was using with this rubber mat. So, what I have is this rubber mat on top of a 3mm acrylic mat smooth side up on a 0285 cork mat so I can get my finger nails under the acrylic should I need to remove it. With this new set up and having the tonearm properly adjusted I plopped a 12" LP on all this and couldn't believe how good it sounded. I can honestly say I can hear a great improvement. Maybe it was replacing the cork pad with this rubber and getting the anti-skate where it belongs. Don't use an acrylic platter to adjust the anti-skate as some would say to do. After some research, I found out that this is bunk. Finally, I think this mat is better than the factory rubber mat that came with my turntable. This mat is smooth and records will lay flush on it. Using a record puck with this should eliminate any sonic distortions.

It works.
It's rubber, it's round and it's cheap. What more can you ask? I would by again!
