Praying Through the 100 Gateway Cities of the 10/40 Window (2nd Edition)

We like this book. It is a great addition to our Bible study so we can pray for people around the world.

I've never read a book like this before but it was one of my son's homeschooling read alouds this year. I really like it in some ways... its introduced my son and I to places we knew nothing about, showed us their strengths and struggles... and how we can pray for and help others in these areas of the world. The information is rather dry for most cities, but still very interesting nuggets.... just wish it was written in a more appealing way for children.... and adults. On at least one of the pages, the cities information is presented in story format and that really made it a lot easier to put ourselves into the situation.

Great book to read and pray through. Using for homeschool and watching you tube videos that coincide with the country we read each day.

This is a very informative book! Information is presented in an easily assimilated format. I am very convinced that Christians should be interceding for the countries of the world, and the choice of these 100 cities is a good place to start, and perhaps to continue for quite a while. I go through this book, praying for each city, in 4-5 months, and then start over again. I recommend this idea for any and all readers.

My kids love this book, as do I... It is a great follow up for older children to  You Can Change the World: Learning to Pray for People Around the World (Volume II) . My children are very familiar with the countries of Africa and Asia, which are often neglected in history studies in the US, in part because of praying for people around the world.

Excellent updated book to read and pray through. I used for homeschooling history.
