I have used it for quite a while and am sure that this Staub Dutch Oven is absolutely outstanding. Although it is a little bit heavy to be carried around, its heavy cast iron construction provides incredible, even heat retention, making it perfect for slow braising, stewing, and roasting. The unique "rainfall" lid design is a game-changer—it continuously drips condensed moisture back onto the food, resulting in unbelievably tender and flavorful dishes every time.It's remarkably versatile, going seamlessly from stovetop searing to oven baking. The durable black enamel interior is easy to clean and, with gentle care, develops a natural non-stick surface over time without any chemical coatings. It's truly built to last a lifetime.While it's an investment and requires hand-washing, its performance is unmatched. If you love cooking, this pot elevates every meal and is worth every penny. I've had this pan at least a year now, and use it all the time. Great even heat distribution using it on our induction hob. Can provide a very steady, very low simmer. The handles don't get too hot to touch when on the hob. Nice, heavy, well fitting low profile lid with a metal handle.

This cookware was talked about on TV, but the price did concern me how could I justify the cost, I am absolutely delighted I overcame my worries because it really is worth every penny, unlike other types of cocottes the unique lid means none of my food has dried out, whether I use it as a stock pot on top of the stove or as a casserole in the oven I don't have to add lots of water/stock, so my food flavours are more concentrated without the need to spend ages reducing it down. Because it looks good and is such good quality I have no problems taking it from the stove to the dinner table knowing that the contents will be piping hot and the food is perfectly cooked. One of the most used kitchen items, this one does not go into a cupboard.

I had to try two of these before I got one of acceptable quality, which judging by the other reviews is quite good. My first one had a very bobbly patch of enamel on the inside that looked like sand was trapped under the enamel. I actually queried it with Zwilling to see if it was a problem, who were pretty vague and asked me where I bought it before just saying if I wasn't happy to return it to Amazon! Considering these sell for £299 at Zwilling and I paid £141 I was a bit sceptical and the old "if its feels too god to be true it probably is" came to mind. Given some of the quality issues with other reviewers too, I was concerned that Zwilling were pushing their seconds out through Amazon.However my second one was actually in perfect condition and so relatively a bargain - Its still expensive compared to a chinese one, but it is a thing of great beauty and obviously works like a Staub should!

One of the best buys in the kitchen. It's very versatile - I use it for making soup and pasta, grillig fish and steak, and you can even put it in oven. It's going to last forever if used in the right way. This is my third Staub cocotte, and this size is my go to cookware in my family, just the right size for a family of 3-4

I have a few of these Staub cocotte pans which I bought directly from Staub at a much more expensive price. I am very impressed with the pan and even more so with the cost.

At first I didn’t make up my mind to buy it. Later a friend said that after buying this pot, she didn’t want to use other pots. So I bought it for a try. After buying it, all the stews depended on it, and i don’t want to use other pots. I am afraid that other pots will not be able to cook this taste. The 22 cm pot is suitable for a family of three to four for daily cooking and not too heavy. And it's a good deal to buy when the price is cheap, thank you!

Nous utilisons la cocotte très régulièrement. La couleur basilic est simplement magnifique. Légume poisson viande plats mijotés, tout fonctionne. De la très très bonne qualité que l’on espère garder pour de nombreuses décennies.

Chip off at 3 areas, I am hard to accept it as this poor quality was not mentioned or described upon purchasing and it should not happened on such a hood brand.
