Demonia Women's Stomp-10 Platform Boots

I LOVED THESE SHOES!!! I get compliments everytime I wear them. But I’m disappointed because purchased them in August and they started falling apart in December. By January I had to completely stop wearing them because they looked like this. I know I wore them often, but I don’t think they should look like this after only 5 months.

I've been interested in Demonia since I was a high schooler going through my gothic phase, but I could never afford a pair. While doing a bit of online shopping, I suddenly remembered that I've been wanting a pair of Demonia shoes for about a decade. So, I did a search on Amazon and found this pair. They looked so killer. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to walk in them, or that the sizing would be weird, or that they would be too heavy to be comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised. They do run a tad large; I normally wear a women's size 10, but this feels like a 10.5. Thicker socks help. They're about as heavy as a pair of steel toed boots, so not unbearable. And I can walk around in them just as well as I could in a pair of Doc Martens. I'm super glad I got them. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them, especially from co-workers.

I love these! I am a 7-7.5 depending on the shoe, and I ordered a 7. I feel like if my foot was even slightly bigger, these might be uncomfortable, so if you are on the larger side of a 7.5, get an 8. If my foot slides down in them, my toes touch the front, but it isn't suuuuper uncomfortable. I think with insoles to keep my foot from sliding, I'll be set.

I would like to start off by saying these are my first pair of Demonias! I never really realized why they were so expensive but this purchase helped make that clear. They are super comfortable and super high quality.Sizing- I'm usually a size 6.5-7.5 depending on the brand, so this was super iffy (i'm usually a size 7) I decided to go with the 7. When I tried it on, it was actually rather large. I would say that I had probably and extra centimeter of toe space in the front and on the sides. Additionally, the toe area is very wide but the arch area is not. So if you have wide feet I would still be cautious of the arch area. If you are in between sizes but leaning towards the smaller size, definitely get the smaller size.Material- In the pictures, the material look very fake and flimsy (at least to me), but they are not at all like that in real life. For one, I though the soles would feel like light foam (which is not good), but that is not true at all. The soles are very solid feeling but it is not heavy. The toe box in the front is actually reinforced so it is slightly stiff. Since these shoes were a little large in the front for me, my toes would bump the front of the shoes when I walk. However, I got used to it pretty fast and my feet acclimated in order to not bump the front. It does not hurt in the slightest. The zipper is a little hard to zip not because it is of poor quality, but because it is so tight in that area so u may need to zip it a couple times to get it going. The leather in the shoe does have a slight smell however, so just be aware of that.Aesthetic- The actual wear of it is very nice. The sole is larger than the upper part of it, so I never feel wobbly. The actual heel part is only about an inch or so, while the platform portion is about 3. Because of this, it's actually not tiring to wear. It also goes with a lot of outfits, and is sturdy to walk on.Overall- I really recommend this shoe if you are looking to buy it! It is definitely worth your money. It does take a little getting used to (since it is so clunky), but it makes your legs look so elegant and is really gorgeous on everyone.

They fithought beautifully, and as a frequent buyer of platforms, one on my favorites. Just as expected, and fast delivery.

The shoes themselves fit great. However, the sheer size of the actual shoe's sole itself, how wide the sole is, makes driving incredibly difficult. The bottom of the shoe basically hits both the gas and brake petals if you're not careful. Walking in them is a challenge if you aren't used to it, and they're a bit heavy, so your legs will get a workout if you're new to these kind of shoes. Overall, love them. Just would not recommend driving in them. The width of the sole does not really accurately show in the picture provided here.

LOVE! The inside walls of the shoe are very comfy and probably will keep in warmth when it gets cold, I'll still need insoles for the bottoms of my feet but these fit perfectly compared to the old Stomp shoes. No toe stub and I always wear a size 9 boots. The ankles are padded and nice flex to them when dancing/walking. I'm used to these type of shoes so I don't think they're heavy either. I DO recommend these if you love Demonia platforms. :D

I love them. Way taller than I originally thought, but that is fine. They look great and were a little big but once I tightened the laces, it fit great. The only thing I worry about is I can slightly see the glue where the heel and the shoe meet. So I’m sure that when the shoes eventually bust, it will be in that area. Toe area is a bit wide, so do not size up.Great buy though. Was worried it cost way too much and wouldn’t be worth it. Don’t regret it at all!!

They arrived quickly, and fit properly. My only gripe is that they hurt my ankle around the top. I'm not sure what it is that does it, but it only does it to the outside of the left ankle. Wearing more than 1 pair of socks doesn't help, neither does loosening the laces. So I'm not sure why it does it. All in all though, I love them.

FANTASTIC boots... Actually, I bought them so that I could wear my Run and Fly black and grey bell bottoms (because yes, I'm also a short arse with meaty legs and a lovely fat arse *sigh*). Someone did call them "spaccy (sorry, their words but mine) boots" because of the very rounded toe, which was a bit disconcerting though... What matters is that I love them and will wear them with my "too long" jeans!
