The SD cards are a bit loose but still ok

Out of the five only one allowed the SD card to be read. But even it was intermittent. Another would identify the SD card as long as I would squeeze it. As soon as I released it, the usb drive would go away. The other three never read the SD card no matter what I did. I have three of the old versions that look identical to these and they have always worked great. They also fit the usb slot perfectly. These new ones are very tight. Hard to insert and remove in the usb slot. Also, the SD cards do not fit well. These are useless. I will open them up to see what the problem is and either fix them or toss them in the trash. I can use the lanyards and the 6X SD card case that came with them. That's the only usefull part of this purchase.

Item does what it's supposed to. had 2 break in less than 30 days. Inside where sd card is pit in breaks easily. And I'm gentle with cards. Not good quality product. But for the price I guess it was to be expected.

These work well, but I'm NOT sure how durable they are going to be!!! Some of these slide easily into your USB port, but some of them fit more tightly and it is harder to fit them into the port! I don't like I feeling that I am having to force them into the port. It is never a good thing to have to use force, especially when dealing with computers components or peripherals!!! I would prefer a slimmer adapter/card reader, even if it is plastic!

They are so small I keep misplacing them, so I need to get some more of them. Works great if I can remember where I put them.

Another bunch of micro SD card readers that do not play nice with each other. One at a time, they seem to work OK but if you plug in a seconds one, it does not even show up so comparisons, copy from one to another is not possible. Did they just clone the whole ID so only one would show up in the File list? What a waste to have to copy from a Micro SD to an SSD or HD then do what you need to do then copy back. What a waste. I have other readers that play well with their siblings. Guess that's too much for these guys. UPDATE: Compatible with Linux, ONLY ONE AT A TIME. All units have same serial numbers!

These micro SD holders are cheap because they are cheaply made. The SD card must sit just so in the slot, not inserted all the way, for them to be read. In addition, the USB is extremely tight, and difficult to insert or remove from a computer.

don't know why I need a 5-pack, but these work.
