Warner's Gin - Elderflower

This is a fantastic purchase. Had difficulty finding Rhubarb Gin ( on its own ) in any of the Supermarkets. Great Product at a Great Price.

This is probably one of the nicest gins of its type. It is not overly sweet and sticky like similarly described gins which are really liqueurs. One of the biggest problems is delivery. Because of the rules governing age restricted items the customer needs to present and sign for the item. All very laudable, but I live in a rural area and deliveries are scheduled between 0800 and 2000 so I have alternative arrangements for most deliveries: a lockable post box and adult neighbours who can sign for items, so why on earth cannot the rules take alternative secure arrangements into account? One of the caveats to this rule is that the address can ".. include the reception of a commercial building" OK so that's all right then: the manager of a children's' nursery could sign for the item, but my pensioner neighbour cannot ...very frustrating

Gin's massive resurgence in popularity means that you now seem to get cin in every flavour but, well...gin! And frankly a lot of them are utterly awful. So I was a little dubious about Rhubarb gin but I have to say this really works. Unlike many of the rhubarb gins I've tried ( most of which are paired with ginger and more like a liqueur than an actual gin) this is neither sweet nor cloying. It has a sharp clean taste with just a hint of rhubarbyness that fits brilliantly with a plain indian tonic. We've had a few bottles now and it never disappoints. If you've never tried any gin but gin, gin try this :)

This was bought for my gin-loving brother-in-law and his wife in France and they were delighted with it. First of all, this is made within twenty miles of me, so it's an excellent local option and one that you aren't going to pick up just anywhere. The bottle is attractive, frosted glass festooned with gold rosettes won by the makers - this makes it an attractive gift in itself. My brother-in-law isn't a fan of flavoured gins and likes one that has some subtlety to it and this hit the spot very well - there as some refreshing citrus and spice hints there, but it never overpowers the underlying juniper of the gin. 40% volume is not to be sniffed at either. The price of this seems to fluctuate quite a bit, but we bought it for £30 and it was worth every penny.

Nice with ginger ale

I ordered this gin for my own use ,it is one I buy regularly ,as it is a favourite of mine and my friends . A bit pricey ,but worth it for flavour and sheer enjoyment of it . The bottles once empty make lovely light features when filled with some miniature battery powered lights I get lots of comments both about the gin and the lights in the bottles . I will be ordering more as time passes .

Bought as a gift at Christmas. Very nice gin.

guter und leckerer Sloe Gin

Ein hervorragendes Getränk. Für Gin Kenner ein Tropfen der in die Sammlung gehört.

Come nelle altre recensioni mi è arrivata la bottiglia nel vecchio formato, ma il Gin non Scade! il bollino su cui malignano le altre recensioni se levato usando l'asciugacapelli e non la forza bruta, dice che il prodotto è per vendita esclusiva sul suolo UK (vai a capire come un prodotto locale sia finito su Amazon ITALIA). Detto ciò visto il prezzo è un affare, ovvio bisogna capire la tipologia di gin che vi piace, questo gin ha una personalità molto forte, per cui non rende troppo con toniche aromatiche (anche se si tenta di assecondare il sambuco non si ottengono grandi risultati), ottimo con toniche neutre o da solo per gli amanti del gin.
