I had Shawarma Chicken recently at the Goat’s Beard, a restaurant in Manayunk PA. It was amazing.I spatchcocked a chicken and marinated it in shawarma spice, lemon juice, and extra virgin olive oil.I started it on the stove and finished it in a hot oven. I served it on a pita. Amazing and easy.Give it a try. If you don’t have knife skills use chicken thighs for a moist quick meal that will make you look like a professional.

I received this item and noticed right away that the plastic bottle it is sent in had the cheapest looking label placed on it that was faded, making it very hard to read the ingredients. I do however love the flavor and when making food, sometimes I will add just a pinch to spice up my dishes.I like this and will use the remainder of it but might experiment with others after.

Kabsa spides were pretty authentic and good but the bottle was poorly packaged and opened by the time it arrived.

I too am bewildered at poor reviews for this product. I haven't bought any for a while, so maybe something has changed.This is literally the nicest smelling and tasting coriander I've ever bought. Actually, I had no idea that is could smell so nice.I'll be buying more soon. There after, I will comment as to product consistency.

This is a really great Za'atar for a great price. It gives a nice fresh scent and taste when you want this flavor. This company consistently has good quality and good prices.

Best variety and wheat in the mix like others. Taste delicious.

This is a better quality allspice than I have ever found before. I did not use the grocery store brands that taste like pocket lint. I ground my own allspice. Then I tried this! It is ground from a higher quality allspice than I ever found, so even though it is not freshly ground, it still is far more tasty and fragrant than anything I've ever tried before. It used to be that a grocery store bottle of allspice would last years in our kitchen, being used occasionally for a cookie recipe. You'd think that such a large bottle would last a decade, but it lasted only two months in this household. We use it in everything we can think of: protein shakes, smoothies, teas and toddies, baked goods, even savory dishes. It has an incredible flavor and potent aroma. We purchase anything sold by Ziyad because our experience with them has always redefined our expectations of quality. A super bargain even if it was nothing special. This is so great that it could command a much higher price.
