These are pretty much as described. I gave four stars because the durability and thickness weren't quite what I had hoped for. I had hoped they would be a bit more durable as I intended to use them as travel journals...so they would frequently be in my backpack while hiking and backpacking for several days. The cover of these would end up bent or even torn off completely if I kept them in my bag. These actually won't work for my purposes. I ended up giving them to my daughter who loves them and doesn't need them as durable as I do. These are also about half the size I was hoping for. That's my bad for not properly reading the size description. Over all, I really like them, they just didn't serve the purpose I needed. Gonna look into something a little bigger with a hard cover for my needs.

I didn't realize when I ordered these, that they were not lined. My fault for not paying attention...turns out I like them better unlined! These notebooks are perfectly sized for my needs, the paper texture and thickness are enjoyable to write on and the covers are flexible but strong. I love writing in them, I will definitely be ordering more in the future.

I keep one of these in my purse for when inspiration strikes. I like the quality of the paper for the price. I do not like the cover. It is flimsy and similar to card stock. It serves its purpose but after I use these I will probably get a more sturdy book, as it does wear and tear a bit in the abyss that is my purse

Great size for a notebook. I am using this as an autograph notebook at Disney. I was really hoping the cover would be thicker but it is only black cardstock. The pages seem ok. Characters will be using a sharpie on them my fear is that it will bleed though to the next page.

These are lovely little art books. Smaller than the standard journal size but perfect to tuck into the front pocket of a backpack or into a tote for a quick sketch or doodle during the day.Paper seems pretty sturdy. Could definitely take some watercolor but is not high quality watercolor paper so don't expect to be able to work it like you would real watercolor paper.But sturdy enough for markers and great for pens.Love the spiral bit, so you can open it completely and not have have your sketch book try and eat you while your drawing.

I use my notebook behind my bar and it sits open throughout shifts to reference cocktails and notes. So it gets a little wet sometimes and is moved and handled alot. When it's not behind the bar it's being transported in a backpack. It's been a few weeks and so far I'm pretty impressed. The cover, binding and paper have held up. No pages falling out or falling apart.

It’s a decent little journal but the paper isn’t the nicest to write on. It is scratchy against the hand like construction paper. Fairly thin paper too. My last journal had very smooth bright white paper so this was a bit of a disappointment.
