This fly trap is so worth the money, I continue to be amazed. I put it about 20 yards from my back door and deck as the instructions said, and within a day, it was already filling up and no more flies coming in the house. I never noticed a smell, even when I was setting it up. It did smell so bad, though, when I dumped it that I threw it away instead of keeping it to refill next year. But because of how well it works, I have no qualms about buying another one! Most definitely worth it!!!

Honestly I don't know what I was expecting but it definitely works. Like I mean it, it works. I live in a more rural area and there's Open water right next to my home so when it rains it creates a lot of flies and so we were having a really bad fly problem and I stuck this outside for a couple of days. And oh my goodness, when I tell you the next day when I came out half that bucket was full with nothing but flies all floating in the water. Now I do recommend that if you are squeamish and you do not want to dump out that container and rinse it out every time I would put a freezer bag in there. Maybe about a gallon fill it up with the water and the the powder so that when you have to change it. You just take the bag out and toss it out. It smells horrendous. I did read that on the other reviews but I am emphasizing that it smells so bad when you open it, especially after being in the hot sun. I know a lot of people say that I didn't work but you have to put it somewhere where it gets some sun and it gets warm so it attracts the flies and lures them in. It definitely does work and I think I will be buying their products again when it comes to summertime but I will most likely be buying the reusable one because I was too grossed by this one. If you don't change it out as soon as it gets full it will get maggots so you need to make sure that you're watching it . It will last about 30 days to 60 days. But honestly I had so much flies the first time. It lasted me maybe 2 weeks the second time. It definitely lasted the 30 days so it definitely is worth the money in my opinion. It weighs nothing when you get it. It's literally just a plastic container but when you get all the flies in it it might be maybe like 5 to 10 lb depending on how many flies you get. The size is small and compact. It's just a regular cylinder container so you can hang it from a tree or the side of your house or wherever you want, but I would recommend somewhere where you're not going to be going by very often solely because it stinks as well once the flies, get in it

After being bitten by many nasty deer flies in the summer of 2024, I decided that I must do something to alleviate this bothersome problem. It became so intensely bad that I could not even enjoy going outside in my yard for two minutes before getting attacked and bitten, most notably, on my neck and head. I must admit that I was very spectacle at first, that it would work and get results, however after purchasing this product, followed the simple instructions, and hung the device in a suitable location in my yard, the results were fast and amazing! Now I can enjoy my yard without getting bitten and attacked by these nasty creatures! I am so very grateful and thankful for this amazing product! Now that the summer of 2025 is upon us, and initially experiencing being attacked by deer flies once again, I realized that it is now time to once again hang this nifty product in my yard and experience quick, efficient and timely results of trapping these nasty critters once again. Thank goodness for such an amazing inexpensive and extremely effective product! You certainly won't be disappointed if you purchase. It will allow you want to once again enjoy and take control of your outdoor surroundings!

I made this purchase looking for something to help with the flies by the entrance of the back door; this fly trap works great; it was easy to set up, it attracts, catches and kills the flies. I give a 4 star vs a 5 only because the rotten smell that comes from the fly trap- not sure if the smell is from the dead insects/flies or due to the heat or maybe both. I would recommend and buy this again just need to place it in a different spot

This product works so good , we have in our back outdoor patio work great .
