Great Motar and pestle
I haven’t used it yet but I am so excited. It came before delivery date and it’s the perfect size and deep. It was packaged well so it wasn’t damaged when I received it. Nice and heavy Mortar

Not as picture
Packaged: it was packaged well even tho the box was delivered with a hole right in the middle which I believe was not the sellers fault but rather from the delivery person. Even with the hole on the side of the box, the item came all intact and not damaged. Item: 1 out of 2 item received is not as pictured. The mortar is more of a grey with a resin cover. The pestle itself is as pictured. Durability: have yet to use this. But I do hope this will hold up long. Overall, even tho I received 1 out of 2 item not as pictured. I’m still content with what I got. Everything else was well packaged. Received a day earlier than expected. Giving this a 4 out of 5 star.

It’s bigger than I thought, I went by looking at the picture. But when they say 8 or 9 inches it really is that big. Happy with it.

Lovely
We got a "seconds" quality kruk that was advertised to have hole inside but actually the bottom is too thin for me to use it as a kruk. That is unfortunate as I grind large quantities of spices. But it is a risk I took. It is very beautiful, just wish it worked. The description of its flaws was not correct.

Huge, authentic.
We were surprised at how big the mortar was. The pestle looks like it could be used as a beater’s bat in Quidditch. Our Cambodian-American DiL (who received it for Christmas) rates it as two thumbs up and authentic. Now we just need papayas to be in season so we can have papaya salad.

Perfect for soft crushing prep
Perfect for CRUSHING,mixing and infusing softer ingrediences used in Thai and other asian preparations. DO NOT expect this tool to GRIND hard ingredience like rice or wheat to flour, or toasted whole spices to powder.
