Very good on three TVs - surrounded by Mountains
located btwn Appalachain and Blue Ridge Mountains - this rec's perfect reception ...ordered third last week - the following is what we sent to Amazon Seller -[3To1] Assuming all sellers maintain Amazon's high quality standards of order fulfillment and customer service - order at best price which may vary by $1 or $2 dollars.>>Unreal expediting of order - equal to Amazon's high standards. - rec'd before had time to enter into accounting records. Very Good service - Excellent packaging and protection of item. Have already 2 of the T3A Pro and noted the LL on this unit - it seems to be just in the EPG guide - other 2 only do 2 hrs ahead of programs - whereas this unit does 6-7 hours - really neat. And all three Artec* remote controls seem to interchangeable. A plus if one misplaces one of 3. <<

Did not work as expected -ONLY WORKS FOR A COUPLE OF CHANNELS
Once it is hooked up it scans the channels. In our case it displayed NO channels found...however we do get about 5 channels just by virtue of having the cable service go through this box. For us this product was not worth buying.

Reception beyond expectations
The ease of set up and then the clarity of reception was beyond what I expected. I purchased this product after lengthy review research and what the others said is true: It simply is the best valued product. Works very well for a very reasonable price!

Good experience with seller, Would by from them again
I enjoyed this converter box. The seller answered all my questions prior to purchase. All parts in good condition, works great and it was a complete converter box, just as the seller described. I recommend this seller and would by from them again.

Once again the "updated" version is inferior to the original...
I own three of these. Two were purchased in 08' and had more and better features. With the $20,00 vouchers they only cost $8.00 each delivered. The new one bought in 09'cost $30,00 and now has integrated the EPG (electronic program guide) so that you get a singe channel list for hours of programming, the old one gave you a five channel list with two current shows. You could also scroll a longer list of programming while on that channel. Something I rarely do. I find it very useful to see what's on the five nearest channels simultaneously. I much prefer the multi channel list. After all, that is the whole point, seeing what else is on now! The new list requires channel surfing effectively defeating it's purpose of listing options. And the old one allowed you to change the channels or adjust volume at the device. The new one only switches on and off. It is clearly more cheaply made with fewer and less attractive features yet the price has doubled? Some progress? welloh. It works erratically. I never know what channels I'll get. One day I get 25 the next day 10. I move the antenna to get PBS and lose ABC. I even use one with my new digital high defintion Tv because with one of these I get more channels. Makes no sense but that's the way it works. In my tiny house I have three Tvs set up in different rooms. Each room offers completely different channel selections. The whole house is only 1100 sq. feet and how this can be is truly amazing to me. This whole new digital technology is puzzling. Last night in a violent rain storm I got the best reception I can remember. Other times in bright sunshine, I can't get half the known channels. When the wind blows the picture scrambles. All these conditions are unique to my digital experience. Before digital I got excellent reliable reception as long as I had power. Now it's hit and miss. I find myself watching more and more on line shows. I also bought a PCTV device by pinnacle; Ultimate stick. In the same room and just feet away, it gets less than half as many stations. I use the included antenna from Pinnacle with that converter and get the best reception in the house. Bazaare! My wifi has become more reliable than broadcast Tv. Thanks Congress! Rushing into this whole thing was clearly motivated by a profit hungry industry with little regard for consumers. I certainly hope it improves to half the reliability we enjoyed Pre-digital!

Very adequate
Easy to use: it scans for your local digital channels. Nice features: unwanted ch. delete; nice EPG guide (program preview). Does not get hot (as some boxes are noted for). Pretty good reception; only my Zenith box has better. Inexpensive; worth the price. Works on a nearby Canadian digital channel too. No buttons, not even power; don't lose the remote!

Stuck In The Analog Age
Okay so I bought this digital converter box for an old analog television I had in a bedroom. For me personally, this thing works just fine. I get pretty good reception out of it and what I really like about it is that it is really small and compact. The only thing I didn't like about it was the RF cables that came packaged with it. They were the ones that have to be sort of screwed into the proper openings, I found it to be tedious and annoying having to work with those. Don't let that little critique deter you though this is a pretty good buy for the price. So if you're looking to bring back to life an old analog tv don't hesitate and buy this converter box.

Do not buy!
Trying to save 4 dollars brought me a mess of problems.I git the item and the box came with nothing but the converter with the tape that says" no scan" I thought it was a mistake so I sent it back. Next day the replacement arrives EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE LAST ONE WITH THE SAME RED TAPE AND NO CONTROLLER OR CABLES! I trusted them since I needed it today but was just dissapointed consecutively...
