I read just one review about this shaved ice maker works well or not ? because i give up for returning things.

We have three kids who use it daily. It works well. When it runs too long, you can tell it’s taxing the motor, but that’s with excessive use. My only complaint is that it’s not quiet. But it shaves ice no problem.

In the picture the ice looks rather chunky, with large crystals. Can it make “snow,’ or is the picture pretty much it?

I love mine! You let your ice sit for a few minutes and it makes snow like ice. I have used mine over and over. Good value for the money.
