Sandtex 500 Gr Ready Mixed Exterior Masonry Filler

excellent filler! does exactly what it says on the tin. very easy to use and dries quickly it has excellent coverage and fills cracks efficiently. Good value for money as it does such a good job. It has left my wall looking as good as new.

Got this to do some repairs and patching to our (painted) stone windowsills. I removed any loose paint, treated the stone with a stabilising solution, before repairing and filling with this. It goes on really well (I used a regular scraper tool). Once dry it seems really solid and sands nice and smooth. So far so good - would use again for a similar-sized job but it's probably a little expensive for the amount you get.

Great filler! Very durable quick drying extremely functional

I had been looking for a white external masonry filler for a while (I was being lazy as I didn't want grey filler on my white wall). This was perfect for the job. It was easy to apply, dried quickly and did the job brilliantly. The pot isn't enormous but certainly was enough for the job that I needed it to do. Would highly recommend.

Bit expensive if using a lot ... very good product Stays active long enough to place then set offf very quickly so you don’t waste time waiting for ever for it to dry I’ve used 4 tubs on the house so far as had particular filling...and I wanted to get on before it rained ..so might research cheaper alternatives allow time for them to set.

Expensive for the amount supplied

The pot size when viewed online looks larger than the product that’s delivered to your door. This misleads some customers but the mass is clearly specified as 500g and that ain’t a lot. More than enough for my needs and plenty left over for future needs. Used to fill a neat round hole in the roughcast (harling in Scotland) made by careless scaffolders. Approximately 9mm depth so I tried one application because I have no patience. Left to harden slightly and then embedded some spare chips to match the roughcast. Worked a treat! Essentially, an invisible repair! Grateful that Sandtex is available in this smaller batch size.

The product was just what I expected and did the job however when I opened the 500g container I was surprised to see it was half empty. I should of wayed it to check however I was more interested in getting the cracks filled
