The sole is very hard though. The slightly bigger size meant I could fit a softer inner sole in which I did. I don't know that i would have been quite so pleased with the boots had i not had some extra cushioning. Review: Most comfortable boots I own! - I needed to replace my Ariat riding boots, but these are way more comfortable and waterproof!

Most comfortable shoes i own- bought a second set
My favourite and most comfortable shoes, my podiatrist approves. They are leather so in hot weather they can get warm but manageable.
