FIMI Support. And drone. A big Pluse 5. Stars. I would do more if they had that.
I bought the Fey mini three Gps wouldnโt login so I contacted Femi support. And they were great took care of the problems analyzed and they finally just sent me a new steam drone that works perfect I could you could ask for any better service from them. They were there every single day texted me and ask questions until they got it resolved so anybody that wants a very, very, very nice drone mini drone Excellent video of flying features. I donโt think he could ask for anything better especially for the price. FIMI. Thank you. Very much I also have their X8 tel max. Does it get a drone as you could ask for clear camera? Excellent Drones. Anybody wants a wonderful drone donโt hesitate go for it. You wonโt be disappointed in the product or the support. Thanks

Drone is fine, controller is awful
TLDR: Drone is pretty middle of the road, features similar to a Mini 4k, The drone itself is fine for its price point, most of my complaints come from the controller, you almost need 3 hands to comfortably attach your phone to the controller because the controller expands and does not lock in a position so you can get your phone in position, the cable is DIRECTIONAL even if it is USB C the angled part must go into the phone and the straight part must plug into the controller no exceptions, and get replacement cables because a regular C to C cable does not work so i would not expect any others to work either

Let me tell you this is quite a drone I at a loss for words I have ran into my car with it I have took out some tall grass going high speed I have hit power lines cause I was going under a bridge over the river and went up and accidentally hit the joystick towards the power lines and poof in the river I went to get it and it was in the river still on lol i used a dehumidifier and unplugged everything but the damn things runs like a champ its a recommended drone by me for sure and the range is very good thank you fimi

Great value - fun to fly!
For the price it's excellent. It doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of some drones that cost much more, but you aren't spending $1K either. I've been flying mine for over a year with very good results. Firmware upgrades have greatly improved it since I bought this drone. I am very satisfied with it and glad I bought it.

Junk. DO NOT BUY
Absolutely garbage. DO NOT BUY THESE DRONES. In the year 2025 NO drones just fly away anymore, right? Wrong. These drones will just disappear from you.

Does the job, but lots of weird technical quirks
I needed a drone to do periodic inspections of my roof and landed on the Fimi Mini 3 after doing lots of research on drones in the $<500 price range. It does the job, but has a lot of weird quirks. I'll start with the pros: * Decent privacy policy: Every drone in this price range is designed and manufactured in China, including this one, so I paid particular attention to the company's privacy and security policies. Amongst its competitors (Dji, Autel, Potensic), Fimi was the only one with a privacy policy that didn't make me want to scream. With the other companies' apps, in order to use the drone's associated apps, you generally have to agree to provide fine-grained location data (which would uniquely identifiy you) and give up rights to any photos/videos taken during flight. Fimi's read more like a traditional U.S. based app where data collection happens only when it would be required for you to use a specific associated service. * Light-weight & Compact: At only 245g, the drone is exempt from FAA registration. The first time I was able to fly it, I honestly couldn't believe such a small drone could fly so easily. * Decent camera quality Now for the cons: * Incredibly specific technical interfaces: The batteries/controller charge only using a 5V/2A connection. Most typical charging bricks which support multiple levels of power including 5V/2A will not work as the current has to be fixed (I suspect the battery packs do not include firmware to do a protocol negotiation which is required). Likewise, the controller will only work with certain older phones like the iPhone 12 mini. The iPhone 15 pro which I also tried could not connect (I suspect it has a newer USB-C interface which is somehow incompatible with whatever non-documented interface the controller specifically requires). * Out of the box non-usable battery: When using one of the batteries the drone shipped with, the drone could not fly. According to the drone there was a voltage / capacity mismatch, and there were no instructions to trouble-shoot this failure. Ultimately, completely draining the battery fixed this problem. The battery really should have just worked out of the box. * Frustrating UI: A lot of the time when trying to setup for take-off, the drone will be unable to do so for a variety of reasons, and the UI is not clear about what you should do to fix it. Generally it takes me 10-15 minutes to go through various trouble-shooting steps to finally get the drone to take-off (the manual is also incredibly unhelpful here). Overall, the drone does the job of taking photos/videos of my roof. But, it suffers from flaws that are incredibly frustrating.
