highly recommend
I'll admit, I was skeptical at first, but after using this Shark Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo for a few days, I'm absolutely loving it! I've always had great experiences with Shark products, and this one did not disappoint. It does a fantastic job picking up pet hair, which is a huge plus since we have a large dog that sheds constantly. It's easy to use, cleans well, and has definitely helped keep my floors cleaner with much less effort on my part. It doesn't replace deep cleaning, but it makes everyday maintenance so much easier. The only downside I've found so far is that you have to attach the mop plate every time you want to switch the robot into mop mode. It's not a deal-breaker, but it would be much more convenient if that process were automatic or didn't require swapping parts. Other than that, I've been very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone with pets or a busy household.

$350 is Reasonable. Great for Disabled People. Works Well With Long Hair From People and Pets.
We have a fairly messy house, 4 kids, 4 dogs, and 4 cats. Everyone has long hair, and I am disabled, so unable to keep up with the house. I never thought we'd be able to use a robot due to clutter. My sister recommended one, so I started looking. I got this, I didn't get too helpful, I was sure I'd be sending it back. PROS: - My floors are clean, lol. The living room carpet has never looked this good. The kitchen floor looks great! The cat litter that gets spread on our bedroom floor is gone. - When it gets full, it takes itself to its base, empties, and picks up where it left off. - If the battery is about to die (15%), it goes back to its base. - When it empties into the base, the base holds the same amount of dirt as my full-sized, upright Dyson. I've only emptied it 3 times in 2 weeks of daily use, and 2 of those times were when the floor was in rough shape before we got it in better shape. CONS: - It takes FOR-EV-ER to set this thing up. Having it map the whole house and then fine-tune each room was a nightmare. It took hours, like 8 of them (not all in one go). Even now that it's mostly set up, I STILL have to tweak some of the areas. - We did have issues with the hair getting caught in the roller the first few times we used it. It will stop and say, "My roller is stuck." You turn it over, press 2 clips to take the roller out, cut the hair, and put it back. It takes seconds. - It doesn't do corners or edges at all. You're still going to be using your upright vacuum hose for those areas. - The mop setting is good for maintenance cleaning, but it's not going to get any marks off. We ended up doing a good clean of the kitchen floor to get stains up, and now we just use the robot to keep it clean and smell good. - It can get loud. When it goes to its dock and empties, it's VERY LOUD, about the sound of a regular vacuum, but it only stays that loud for a few seconds. When it's sweeping/vacuuming our tile floor, it is pretty loud. Not quite as loud as a regular vacuum, but it's loud. Barely noticeable on carpet. - It's not the best at navigating some things. Some things I know it can fit under it will look at and go around, other things I know it can't get past (8 chairs at the dining room table), it will die trying to get around. It is all in and ready for war with those chair legs. Very often it will get itself in, but it has to be helped out. Overall impression: I am disabled, and this is a lifesaver, game changer. I paid $350 for it, and I feel I got my money's worth. It's not perfect, you're still going to need to take care of corners and stains, but for everyday maintenance, it's great. The app kinda sucks, but not as bad as some of the other comments are saying (maybe they did an update). Setting it up was complete BS and a total nightmare, but once it's done, you never have to mess with that stuff again. I would buy again for $350, not sure if I would buy for anything higher, it would need to do corners and edges a bit better to get me to pay more.

Set it and forget it!!
OMG I'm over the moon about this vacuum/mop!!! during set up, it made a very accurate floor plan of my home. Adding in the carpeted areas and rugs was simple enough. During the mapping process, I was amazed at how much dog hair it picked up, but then overnight it ran a full vacuum cycle, and, wow! I cannot believe after picking up so much during mapping that it picked up so much more on a full run. I had to fix some measurement for the rugs and the mopping process, but I am running the mopping again now and completely delighted how it works!

Good for smaller house/ apartment that has a square floor plan.
Quite and better than Roomba. Hasn't gotten lost or stuck. However, the downside is the mapping and glcreating zones. If your house isn't squared and has angles you can not create proper rooms, sizing is limited and can not go small enough for bathrooms or hallways. You also can not set a schedule with certain rooms, the schedule is set for all zones. You can choose by room if you manually tell it to vacuum. Battery goes fast and has to stop to charge halfway through a clean. Mopping feature works well but only last for half the house. Overall, good product but not as customizable for zoning or rooms does well with pet hair!

Helpful, but not perfect
I’ve had this product for 6 months. I wanted to wait for my review, to see how I felt about it long term. It definitely helps me keep up with daily cleaning. We have one room with carpet and the rest are tile or laminate. I expected the hard floors to be where it was the best, but the carpet is much better than expected. We have a black lab. It helps with dog hair, for sure. It is by no means perfect. The two complaints I would have are that it doesn’t do well on edges. One of the reasons I chose this model was the description of puffs of air and circulating brushes that help with corners. That’s not accurate, or at least not effective. I still have to sweep manually to get dirt out of corners and edges. Often while it’s getting started, I got around with a broom and move debris to the middle of her path. My other complaint is that occasionally she crawls up on something, such as a shoe and then won’t come down because she thinks she’s on the edge of a cliff and about to fall. The mopping isn’t quite what I expected. Water is just squirted on the floor and then wiped. There’s no sucking up dirty water. But that’s a minor issue. I don’t mop as much because you have to be here to fill the reservoir and change out the mop pads. Vacuuming can be much more automatic. Overall I’m happy. It’s nice to come home from work with sweeping complete, most days.
