You have to let it sit while massaging it into your face in order to get the makeup off but it is worth it since it actually does a great job at removing your stubborn makeup. Additionally, I really appreciate how moisturizing this is and it leaves your skin feeling very soft, replenished, and glowy when you are done. I have sensitive & acne prone skin and this does not break me out or upset my skin in any way. I definitely recommend using a "makeup eraser" type of cloth with this product since it will help you gently wipe away the melted makeup and excess cream as well as gently exfoliate to truly remove all of your makeup.
