I had been looking everywhere for ground chipotle pepper and couldn’t find it at a couple of my local grocery stores, so I finally checked Amazon—and I’m so glad I did! This is a 2.15-ounce container of ground chipotle made from smoked red jalapeños, and it has exactly the flavor I was hoping for. I absolutely love the smoky taste, and the heat comes through gradually rather than hitting you all at once. It has just the right amount of kick for me without overpowering the other flavors in a dish. I’m planning to use it in sauces, soups, and other recipes whenever I want to add that deep smoky flavor with a little heat. It’s one of those spices that can really make a difference without needing much. I also appreciate that it’s non-GMO and vegan, which are nice added benefits for me. If you enjoy smoky flavors with a slow-building little kick, this is definitely a spice I’d recommend keeping in your pantry. It has already earned a spot in my spice collection and will be getting plenty of use in my kitchen!

Not much heat in this powder. Had to use quite a bit to make the chilli taste. Disappointing.
