昨年まではGibsonJ45にギブソン、マーチンなどのコーティングされた弦を使用していましたが同製品を昨年９月に他社から購入して今年の5月まで音色も良く快適に弾いていました。さすがに最近サウンドホール上部付近の弦(一番ピックダメージが大きいところ)のコーティングが剥がれ始めたので今回はAmazonさんに注文しました。Extra lightなので低音はちょっと弱いですが音色も弾き心地も最高な上にLifeが脅威の約9ヶ月(1日1時間程度弾き)持てば大満足です。

手汗が多いタイプで、非コーティング弦を使うと、どれだけちゃんと拭いても翌日には錆びてしまいます。定番ということでエリクサーも試しましたが、自分には少し滑りすぎると感じました。コードを押さえづらく、音色も好みではありませんでした。この弦は、エリクサーほど滑らず、指への引っかかりがちょうどいいです。音色もこちらの方が好みで、何より手汗が多くても錆びにくいのがありがたい。正直、探していた条件にすべて当てはまりました。もう一生この弦を使うと思います。

Tylor 114ceに使用中。高中音がとても綺麗な音になってる。また従来の弦と比較して約3倍以上程度もちます。今後も引き続き使用しようと思ってます。

音圧感があり、音の抜けやバランスも良く、手触りも違和感はなく、とても気持ち良く鳴る弦でした。同じゲージの他の種類、他のブランド弦と比較したわけではないので、あくまでも自分の感覚だけですが、唯一、テンション感がすこし強い感じがしました。

発売当初から愛用しています。ギターによって違うものを使用しており、本商品はヤマハのインディアンローズウッドサイドバック、スプルーストップのドレッドノートに張っています。参考になるかわかりませんが、手入れはしっかりしながらですが、毎日弾くギターで一年以上替えてません。チューニングが甘くなったり、サスティンも減り、テンション感も多少ゆるくなり、新品のような音はもちろんしませんが、逆に購入して出せる音ではない状態で気に入っており、替えるのが惜しいのもあり、タイミング思案中です。流石にこの時間経過だと言うのもありますし、金属疲労への耐性がコーティング由来なのか？というのは定かではありませんが、それだけの剛性と粘性があるのは事実なのかなと思います

J50、ゲージ13〜の場合炭素鋼ということらしく、サバレスと比較してテンションがきつめです。良いところはチューニングの安定性が素晴らしいのと強く弾いても軽く弾いても弦の強度があるので、音程が全くズレません。他の柔らかめのテンションの弦だと強く弾いた時に、特に6弦のピッチがあったりして和音の感じが不気味になりがちですが、コレは一切ありません。その点が素晴らしい！テンシンはきつめですが、柔らかい弦はしっかり押し源しないと弦が動いてしまうので、それなりの握力で押さえる必要があると思いますが、こっちは、弦が必要以上に暴れない分、軽く軽く押さえてあげても音がしっかりなるので、この弦に合わせて力を抜いてあげると弾きやすく感じます。コーティング無しと比較してもイントネーションの違いはそこまでありません。しばらくはコレで行ってみようと思います。

I really like the strings because i have sweaty hands and if i use the normal D’addario strings in like 1 or 3 days of use it rust but if i use the D’addario xs string it rust like 10 months ago I really like the strings and i want to buy more in the future.

I've used elixer polyweb custom lights on my larrive rw dread forever, but these XS light plus sound phenomenal! The amount of musical sound and harmonics I hear from the guitar with these on is definitely a step above the elixers, not putting them down it just is what it is. There is more presence and clarity with the XS, and they still feel super smooth. Definitely a good string.

Die D'Addario XS Akustikgitarrensaiten in Phosphorbronze (12–56) haben mich von Anfang an überzeugt. Bereits nach dem Aufziehen fällt der ausgewogene, warme und gleichzeitig brillante Klang auf. Die Saiten behalten ihren frischen Klang deutlich länger als herkömmliche Saiten und zeigen auch bei häufigem Spielen kaum Verschleißerscheinungen. Dadurch spart man sich häufige Saitenwechsel und hat länger Freude am Instrument.Die Verarbeitung ist, wie man es von D'Addario erwartet, erstklassig. Jede Saite wirkt hochwertig gefertigt und lässt sich problemlos aufziehen.Exzellenter Klang, angenehmes Spielgefühl, hervorragende Stimmstabilität und eine beeindruckende Lebensdauer. Für Akustikgitarristen, die Wert auf Qualität und Zuverlässigkeit legen, sind diese Saiten eine klare Empfehlung.

I finally gave these strings a try a few months ago to see if the hype was worth it. I never cared much for Elixrs and the Martin SP's were ok but for the price dulled out sooner than I'd prefer. I've used Martin Monels and John Peasrse strings almost exclusively on my spruce/mahogany backed guitars for years and I can say that these strings are fantastic for that wood mix. They play well and last a fair bit (depending how much you play and for me it's a lot). These were on a cyber sale so I decided to pick up a few packs to keep the stocks well supplied. I always tell people who are looking for the best strings for a particular guitar etc. that there is no such thing and you need to try lots and go with what you prefer. These I think would fit the bill for most players and get you good bang for your buck especially if you aren't gigging or playing multiple times a week.
