Perfect fit and quality.
Was able to fit in tighter space after frame moved from derby. Fired right up. Great starter with a smaller platform! Early nineties crown vic, 94-96, should fit some other years.

2016 F150 solenoid is clocked in a different position.
Starter worked great. The solenoid is clocked at about 8 instead of 11 as you look at the back of the starter. This is actually an improvement from the factory starter solenoid orientation. I called Powermaster and got to tech very quickly. They advised I could re-clock the solenoid by removing the 3 allen bolts on the face of the mounting flange, clock and replace using red Loctite. I elected not to and install it as received. The top bolt is much easier to reinstall with this configuration. I replaced the bottom stud (cut head off an 8mm bolt) with a new one the proper length to allow for starter install including ground wire and reused factory upper bolts. Starter sounds slightly different but turns the motor over well and starts every time. This starter cost less than local rebuilds, is new and made in the USA! We'll see how the longevity is.

Fit my F250
Fit my 2012 6.2L F-250 really well. Definitely an improvement over my dying factory starter. Recommend!

Plan on only using 2 of the 3 bolts.
Not enough clearance to install bottom starter bolt between cylinder and mount flange. If you try to cut the bolt down to get it in...it will be to short to thread to the bellhousing.

Fits my 2001 Grand Marquis.
This is a fantastic starter. Installed this shortly after installing a Tork Tech supercharger on my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis. This will fit your crownvic or grandmarquis even if amazon says it will not.
