Power Extension Cable 16.5ft 1.35mm x 3.5mm Compatible with 5V DC Adapter Cord for CCTV Security Camera IP Camera Standalone DVR (3.5mm DC Plug 16.5ft Black)

I purchased this and some 2.1mm to 2.5mm adapters and a 10 amp power supply to thin out the amount of power cords needed plugged in to the wall for my 6 external Hard drives. Each of my Head's needed 1.5 amps each so with this setup I only needed a power supply or 9 amps or higher. It effectively eliminated 5 extra power cords from my power strip. I've been using this for about 4 months now and everything works great.

I bought this as an extension for my wired Reolink outdoor Wi-Fi camera. The Reolink camera came with a nice cord, but it wasn’t quite long enough to reach my electrical outlet. I have read that extension cables add too much resistance between camera and the ac/dc adapter, which results in erratic camera performance. However, I haven’t had any problems.

Great for ring cameras

It is a cord, not much to tell. it is flexible and just what needed to move the power supply away from the USB hub.

Was looking to extend the wire for our stick up cam for a better angle without having to move the outlet it is plugged into. Didnt work, Ring says "low battery" on the camera even though its a wired camera. Some people seemed to have luck with this on the solar ring cams, but this is not the case for the wired type.

This extension cable works perfect with the 14V 1.1 A charger of a Google Nest Mini (Google home mini second generation). The connection is snug on both ends of the 1.35mm x 3.5mm barrel plug connector. I had to cut the cable to extend it even more, no issue when soldered back correctly, looks great on my Skylights! * For anyone concerned aesthetically the cable has a light grey text printed on the entire length.

This cable is helping me reduce the amount of power adapters, power bars, cabling and installation appearance. I built 3 of these kind of cables by soldering the wires, it is really not worth the time since these are available. I am happy I don't need to that stuff anymore.
