Clear instructions. Great packaging. Absolutely beautiful set! It took me, by myself, as long to build as watching all 8 movies consecutively.If you’re thinking about buying this, you need to!I’m sad I’m done with it but it’s so incredibly stunning I’d build it all over again. Definitely appreciate all the extra little pieces. My only issue with this set is that it’s over and complete 😭. It is absolutely massive so have some place beautiful to display it!I do appreciate that both halves connect and disconnect easily making it a lot easier to move to its permanent home 😍❤️

Lego set was fun to build, watched all the Harry Potter movies when I was building it and it took roughly 23(ish) hours to build. Definitely my favorite Lego set I own. Overall I would recommend especially if you're a fan of the Harry Potter series.

Was my first lego set, had a lot of fun. Easy set. Very detailed. Perfect for gifting.Chamber of secrets vault was tough to complete, definitely needed strong fingers for that.The overall assembly of that tower was also challenging. Other than that only tough things were separating pieces if assembled incorrectly!!Only one small L shaped piece was missing in the entire set, but there are a lot of the single extra pieces and I was able to use those instead.

The box is big & heavy ! Yes the cost is high but it should keep my daughter busy for some. Legos have always been of top quality so the cost was well worth it. Also - Kudos to the supplier whom shipped - they did an amazing job (:

My wife got me this Harry Potter Lego set for my birthday. Even though the price is a little higher, it is well worth the money. This Lego set comes with a brief overview of the team that put this set together and a neat informational piece about the set. This set has an incredible amount of detail from each book/movie. This is my first “large” Lego set I’ve built which took me a few days but everything is clear and concise in the manuals and the overall product looks great! This set is quite large, taller than it is wide. It is separable into two pieces when completed. Any child or adult will be happy with this set whether they like the Harry Potter series or not.

Albeit expensive, this is a very impressive set. I got this for my daughter as a Christmas present. She is a huge Harry Potter fan. We are still building but so far I am completely blown away with the detail this set has. It’s mind boggling how a Lego designer came up with this build. I have such respect for their design skills. With the amazing detail comes a very tedious build. There are a lot of small pieces that require precise assembly. If you like that sort of attention to detail you will love this set. You get 4 regular sized figures. The micro figures are nothing more than drone figures. They do give the smaller scale rooms some realism but there’s no other purpose for them. We also purchased one of the 3rd party light kits and are installing them as we build. All parts come in sequential bags so you build small amounts of parts at a time. My only complaint is the instructions are not completely clear. Some pieces are shown graphically where they go and others are shown already in place so you spend some time playing “Where’s Waldo?” comparing pictures in the instructions to your build. This has lead to having to take things apart to place missing pieces and in some cases accidentally using the wrong colored piece in a assembly step. It’s not a problem if you are patient. That’s is the key here, patience. At the point we are at I am guessing that complete assembly will take about 30 hours. I can already tell that this set will be breathtaking when it’s completed. As a child I always wanted one of these large Lego sets. I love it and so does my daughter. Having a background in plastic molding I can see why the set is so expensive. The tooling required to produce some of the pieces in this set had to cost a small fortune. If you can swallow the cost I highly recommend this set. It is truly amazing.
