I’d need to use this for locking bolts that get up to 210 Fahrenheit.** A: Yes that would be appropriate. It seals items that will get into the higher range of temps **Q: when reapplying the same sealant, is it necessary to first clean off the sealant from last time?** A: I would clean off the sealant before applying new just because the old sealant may have become contaminated. If it has some grit in it, it could affect the seal.
