It was too hot to go out to the shop to get more coffee, so I'm very grateful to the Amazon staff/drivers fulfilling my order and delivering it! The 200g jar is a plastic jar, which I decanted into an empty 200g glass jar - there was more in the Amazon coffee jar, meaning I couldn't decant all of it! Definitely a bargain! I'm not a huge coffee drinker, and have only recently started drinking black coffee again. I don't like strong coffee. This brand of coffee is perfect! A lovely taste and aroma, not bitter but lovely and smooth. Opening the jar was easy, as was removing the foil lid. I will absolutely buy this coffee again. Definitely value for money

Great taste and good value

Not top for taste but reasonable for price

I was buying Aldi's red label coffee which was excellent value for £1.99. It obviously wasn't the best instant coffee but it was still very drinkable. However, Aldi put their price up 25p and when I forgot to buy coffee on a big shop, I turned to Amazon. Gotta have my morning wake-me-up! It's been a very pleasant surprise. Much smoother taste than Aldi's and better quality. This coffee definitely has that lovely velvety caramel tone to it rather than the more harsh dark roast in the Aldi brand. This week, I did my big shop and noticed that Aldi have again closed the price gap between themselves and Amazon. On subscribe and save, for me there's literally pennies difference now. And still only around 50p more on Amazon without. What's that, 1p more per cup?! So I've reordered the Amazon brand today. Might as well get the better one; sorry Aldi but you lose! The coffee comes in a sturdy plastic jar as opposed to the traditional glass which I'm seriously not at all bothered by. I recycle, regardless. It's actually nice not having a weighty glass jar! It would be very useful for people who take coffee jars when they travel, go camping, or even for work. That bit more convenient. I can recommend this coffee full heartedly!

I'm not a coffee drinker but I bought for someone else as coffee is horrendously expensive! Love that it comes in a plastic jar as this won't be as heavy for the person be easier to use, looks nice & neat and fantastic value for money

I grew up drinking a lot of instant coffee either hot or cold(Frappe) . As the price of Nescafé skyrocketed I am in search to find a good substitute for the money. This coffee is not one of them . It has the taste of the cheap ones out there, can’t describe it. Aldi’s premium instant coffee is far superior and nearest to the Nescafé gold. Another bad point is that to make a good cup of coffee(less watery) you need at least two huge table spoons of coffee, that means I need 20-30% more coffee to make the same strength to my Nescafé gold/Aldi Columbia /Lidl. Conclusion , it is worth it when is on offer and you save at least 50% from the good ones.

Not bad at all! It's a bit rougher round the edges than jars that cost 3 x more but what do you expect?

I decided to try this medium roast instant coffee. The flavour is smooth and clean, with a light body and gentle caramel sweetness tempered by a bold bit of acidity. It’s pretty versatile when I didn’t have time for a full brew, a couple of teaspoons stirred into hot water did the job nicely for me. What I especially liked was the packaging and practicality. The instant format makes it quick to prep first thing and the fact it’s suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets is a plus. On the flip side, it’s not quite “coffee shop quality” in depth or richness compared with some premium brands I’ve tried. If you’re looking for the deepest roast or darkest tone, this might sit slightly lighter than you’d expect. Also the plastic jar isn’t as premium feeling as glass tins I’ve used though obviously that’s more about preference than function. Overall if you want a solid instant coffee that tastes good, is quick to make and comes with that sustainability certification, I’d say this one’s well worth it. Just don’t expect it to completely rival freshly ground beans or ultra rich speciality roasts.

The product offers a pleasant taste experience; however, there is an opportunity to enhance the packaging. The current plastic material and the seemingly unrefined label design could benefit from a more considered approach.

Muy buen sabor como corresponde a un cafe extraído por liofilizado. Muchísimo mejor que la marca del sueldo, que no es liofilizado. Y con un precio muy competitivo. No es que lo volvería a comprar, estoy suscrito.

Für mich persönlich ist es vielleicht nicht das absolut beste Instant-Kaffee, aber Geschmäcker sind ja verschieden. Meine Frau hingegen findet es absolut klasse und trinkt es super gerne! Es lässt sich schnell zubereiten, riecht gut und schmeckt ihr hervorragend.
