This is a beautiful speaker and it is nice to place it anywhere around the house it is very solid but at the same time won’t ocupied large space it is not super light but it is not to heavy either around 3.5 pounds.The sound is beautiful deep bass and clear treble that you can tweak from the bose app.It can get loud enough for a party in the patio area.This is not my first bose product I do have the soundlink revolve plus 2 which I love and two soundlink flex.I paid $179 for the this one (the plus)and I am more than please with the rebate that I got here and it only took like 3 days. I am a huge fan of bose but I never buy right away I’ll always wait for a special sale like this one. You won’t go wrong with this one it gets pretty loud and the battery last for days unless that you party hard every day!!! Very easy to use you just charge it full for 4 hours and turn on your bluetooth pair it your phone and your are set.It came as you would expected new and seal!!!

INCREDIBLE, room-filling sound! The customizable equalizer is a very cool feature. Though a bit heavy, still very portable. Have not run it down completely out of power, but I know it lasts at least 3-4 nights in the living room for a few hours at a time, so, excellent play time on a full charge.

This speaker is fantastic! I bought this for listening to music while boating, swimming, and fishing. This speaker connects smoothly and effortlessly once you have the Bose app. The sound quality is phenomenal! It’s dust-proof and waterproof which makes it perfect for the boat. A single charge lasts for HOURS - it’s unreal!

I say this is mostly good because of a couple of reasons... 1. The unit has WAY too much bass. Fortunately you can use the Bose app to cut that out, but even then it can be too much. And why do we have to use an app to reduce the bass? There should be controls on the top. It's not like there is no space for them. 2. The charge in the unit does not really last that long. I don't even take it out to the beach like all the ads show. I just use it next to my work desk to listen to music. This makes the portability feel kind of limited to me, so make sure you have a charger nearby when using it. 3. It's heavier than it looks. You won't break your back carrying it, but just wanted to mention in case you intend to take this out and about with you.

OK, first of all I want to start out by saying there’s no better than Bose as far as I’m concerned! However, this one is awesome but a little bit too big for me to carry back-and-forth to the creek. The smaller size of this was perfect!

Bose fan and a musician here. I have previousely owned a Soundlink Mini II, a home thearter, and a soundbar, highly satisfied with them, so I have decided to refresh my speaker repertoire and get their newest release. First impression - good, but not impressed. Here's why, and the last reason might suprise you: 1. Size. It is a LOT bigger than it appears in the pictures and videos, which makes it difficult to carry around, and I am 6 foot tall. If you also own a Soundlink Mini, it's about 3 times the volume. 2. Sound. By all means, Bose sound quality has always been great. I was just not impressed as the frequencies do not go as low as I have experienced in similar-tier speakers (JBL, Sonos, Soundcore). I am looking for a portable speaker that can bring a chestfull of bass, yet I sometimes have trouble hearing the bass line from the playback of the Soundlink Plus. 3. Connectivity. I am not sure if it is just me or this is a common issue, but I have had occasional interruption and distortion in my bluetooth connection when playing music, which is very strange, as I was not doing anything that migh cause this issue, even when the phone is right in front. 4. Left/right balance. I have not seen many people talk about this. The internal layout of the Plus means that it has its woofer and tweeter toward the right side of the speaker, while its passive bass radiators are toward the left. When listening at a distance, the imbalance is diminished, but when you listen up close, you can tell that the mids and the highs are leaning toward the right, where the bass is toward the left. It's an odd feeling and definitely not the best listening experence. Conclusion: 1. I will not return right away, as I love Bose product and want to give it a fair chance. 2. I will purchase a few alternative speakers to compare. 3. If I decide to keep it, I will likely ask for a replacement for the connectivity issue mentioned above. Would I still recommend this product? Yes, for the black friday deal price of $200 post-tax, this speaker is a great value and it represents the quality and the refined listening experience of the Bose brand. You will also instantly look cooler at the parties if you pull up with a Bose. Give it a go. It might not be for everyone, but it could be for you.

Very Nice Bluetooth Speaker

Llevo usando el Bose SoundLink Plus aproximadamente una o dos semanas y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido muchísimo. Venía de usar un Bose SoundLink Mini II, que ya de por sí me parecía un altavoz muy bueno para su tamaño, así que tenía las expectativas bastante altas. Aun así, este SoundLink Plus me ha dado justo esa sensación de salto que esperaba: más cuerpo, más presencia y una potencia que se nota desde el primer momento. Lo primero que llama la atención es que no estamos ante un altavoz pequeño de apoyo, sino ante un altavoz portátil bastante serio. Sigue siendo cómodo de mover por casa o llevarlo a otro sitio, pero ya transmite sensación de producto más grande y más capaz. No llega a ser un trasto exagerado, pero sí se nota que está en una categoría superior a los altavoces compactos. En sonido me parece una auténtica bomba. Tiene graves con mucha pegada, pero sin que todo suene artificial o exagerado. Las canciones tienen bastante cuerpo, las voces se escuchan claras y en general da la impresión de llenar la habitación con mucha facilidad. Es de esos altavoces que al subir un poco el volumen hacen que pienses: vale, esto ya es otra cosa. No hace falta ponerlo al máximo para notar que tiene potencia de sobra. Una cosa que me pasó al principio es que el sonido me pareció algo más retumbón de lo esperado, pero en mi caso era por la superficie donde lo tenía colocado. Lo puse sobre una mesa que amplificaba mucho las vibraciones y hacía que el grave se notara demasiado. Cambiándolo de sitio, sobre una superficie más estable, el sonido mejoró bastante y quedó mucho más equilibrado. Es importante tener esto en cuenta, porque este altavoz mueve bastante aire y el lugar donde lo coloques puede cambiar bastante la percepción del sonido. La batería también me parece uno de sus puntos fuertes. No he tenido esa sensación de estar pendiente continuamente de cargarlo, y para un uso normal en casa, terraza, cocina o habitación aguanta muy bien. Además, que tenga USB-C es cómodo y se agradece en un producto actual. El diseño me gusta mucho. Se nota robusto, bien construido y con ese estilo sobrio de Bose que no llama la atención de forma exagerada, pero sí transmite calidad. También me parece un acierto que sea resistente al agua y al polvo, porque da mucha tranquilidad para usarlo en más situaciones: cocina, baño, exterior, piscina, terraza, etc. No es un altavoz que dé miedo mover o usar fuera de una mesa perfecta. La conexión por Bluetooth me ha funcionado bien, sin cortes ni complicaciones. Emparejarlo ha sido sencillo y la app de Bose también ayuda a ajustar un poco el sonido si quieres tocar graves, medios o agudos. Personalmente lo he usado bastante tal cual viene, aunque dependiendo de la habitación puede venir bien bajar un poco los graves si está colocado sobre una superficie que retumbe. Si tengo que destacar algo, es que consigue dar una sensación de sonido grande sin llegar a ser un altavoz enorme. Hay modelos más potentes y más grandes, pero para mí este SoundLink Plus tiene un equilibrio muy bueno entre tamaño, potencia y calidad. Es suficientemente portátil como para moverlo sin pereza, pero suficientemente contundente como para usarlo como altavoz principal en casa. No se me ocurre un punto negativo importante después de estas primeras semanas. Quizá lo único que diría es que conviene colocarlo bien para que los graves no retumben demasiado según la superficie, pero eso no lo veo como un fallo del altavoz, sino como consecuencia de que tiene bastante pegada para su tamaño. En resumen, me parece un altavoz espectacular. Si vienes de un altavoz más pequeño, el salto se nota muchísimo: más volumen, más cuerpo, más graves, más batería y una sensación general de producto mucho más completo. Es de esas compras que, al usarlo unos días, te dejan con la sensación de haber acertado totalmente. Muy recomendable si buscas un altavoz portátil potente, con buen sonido, buena construcción y que sirva tanto para casa como para exterior. Para mí, un auténtico bichaco.
