I purchased these speakers and cannot get them to connect to my apple products via bluetooth. am i doing something wrong?

I had a similar issue with them connecting to my MB Air. Once connected, go to your sound preferences and switch briefly to "Internal Speakers" then back to "Pyle Audio" and it will start working.

Can you use these speakers without a receiver and do Bluetooth only? Or do u have to have a receiver?

You can direct connect or Bluetooth ... I connect my phone via Bluetooth and they work great

Has anyone encountered problems with connecting them to an Echo like in the video on this page?

These speakers can only be connected to 1 Bluetooth source at a time. If you are trying to connect your echo turn off the blue tooth from your phone (or which ever device is connected to the speakers) then connect the speakers to the echo
