Five Star Chef Apparel 18120 Unisex Executive Chef Coat

The quality of the material used was excellent. Aside from that, this was a complete waste of money. Very disappointed in the product for many reasons. First there were seamstress markings all over the garment. Blue and orange and black marker splotches at the corners, button holes and seam lines. They won't wash out. Looks like a 9 year old made it and probably did. Second, the button holes are just slits in the fabric. Not reinforced in any way. Pot a button through and the immediately start to fray. And every seam on the jacket has strings coming out of it. It's awful. I wasted my money.

I haven't checked this out in action, having just received it. Seems very good quality, and is quite nice looking. NOTE ON SIZING, because I was bewildered, too. I am a Woman's 14-16 (USA) on top and 12-14 (USA) trousers. Unless the jacket shrinks in the wash, the L is too large. Not by a lot, but enough that, if I were going to use it in an actual cooking/chef environment, I'd return it for a Medium. Since I need it as a costume for a play, I'll just shorten the sleeves (since the stylish piping on the cuffs is too nice to roll up). Hopefully this will help the next woman who's trying to suss out what size to buy. Better information in the product description would help us all, I think. Thus only four stars.

An executive chef needs to look like an executive right? This coat fits the bill! The price is more than right as well! I do wish it came with custom logo options but it's certainly no big deal... Chef jacket for my son to use in culinary class at college. Excellent quality, washes and dries with no special treatment. The material is like a permanent press and is not flimsy. The sizing is EXACTLY as stated on the chart and I would say runs bigger than others of similar size that we had looked at. The price was 80% cheaper than what I would have paid in Canada. It arrived quickly. I absolutely recommend this product and the company that provides such quality products and service.

Other than being a little large, this jacket is PERFECTION! The quality is top notch, it is whiter than white and the stitching is perfect! I had it monogramed and pressed and was ready to go! I like the roll up sleeves, I may have mine tacked up as the sleeves (for me) are a little too long, but that is not unusual for me. I would definitely recommend this jacket, I was very happy with my purchase.

I got 2 of these in small for my sister and I for a catering gig I was doing. I like the length of the coat, cause I wear yoga tights a lot and this CYA is nice for that. The sleeves I knew would be long, but they are really wide too... I rolled them up, but then you kind of loose the piping on the edges. If I keep at this, I may graduate to a more fitting jacket, but for the price this is a good one for now!

Good work coat for the price. I get about 2 years on them, wearing each one once, occasionally twice in a week period. They stain a bit easier than my coats with premium cotton and are slightly warmer. Not quite as heavy as other cheap coats though, that's a good thing in a hot kitchen. Good price for a coat with piping of this quality. I'll buy 3 more next year

i bought this for my wife for mothers day. She is not a professional chef , but she does anawesome job cooking for our family...always trying different recipes. My wife is 5'4", about 170 pounds. This chef coat fit perfect and she loved it .
