oVertone Hair Conditioner with Colour Container, 225 ml, Semi Permanent Hair Colour with Shea Butter and Coconut Oil, Vibrant Blue, Vegan, Cruelty Free

I recently had my hair colored teal and wanted to use Overtone to keep the color vibrant. It worked beautifully! This was my process: make sure your hair is clean but damp, I used a spray bottle to dampen as I went. I sectioned off my hair and applied liberally to each section. I used clips to clip up each section after applying. I then used a disposable shower cap to cover and minimize mess as I waited. The directions say 10-15 minutes until you can wash, but I waited 60 minutes as I wanted to ensure vibrant color. When time was up I rinsed with cold water until clear but did not shampoo and then dried my hair. It’s beautiful and super soft! The process was time consuming but if you're patient and carful you’ll have really nice color. Don’t forget to use gloves!!

It made my hair fall out after 2 uses. I was looking for a darker blue than my current brand carries. It did not work for me but the color looked bright and lively.

I often purchase this and so far I only had one or two issues with packaging and some texture with the dye. I love using this and it makes my hair so soft. It’s not for everyone but okay for me.

"vibrant blue" I have dark brown hair with grays and sun bleached areas The instructions indicate to apply to dry hair for 20 minutes I probably took at least 10-15 minutes to apply and left on an additional 20 minutes it washed out easily, but does not seem to have taken to my sun bleached hair, and only appears a very pale blue on my gray roots it does condition well leaving hair very soft, and the minty fragrance is nice. I will update after a few days when I shampoo to assess.

Purple is my favorite color, in all the shades, but especially the "for brown hair" option, because that means I don't have to bleach :) The best thing about it is that it doesn't bleed all over my face, neck, pillow, shirt, or in the rain after the first washing. The smell is a nice spearmint, not "fake grape made from the tears of children", and it fades quickly.
