De las mejores compras que he hecho, si vives en la ciudad vas a notar el cambio de la calidad de aire que es diferente al exterior. Sin duda cambio mi calidad de aire.

“Designer” fan and purifier
Kept our living room cooler than it has been in past summers, and I like the idea that it is also purifying the air. It sits in the corner and doesn’t look out of place next to nice furniture.

Over price with no long term value
Over priced. Wait until you get to replacing the filters, just over $90 for half of the outer filter which is the one that gets dirty quickest. Only had a few months running on auto the whole time and is at 50% filter life, granted I live in a 127 year old farm house but had cheaper hepa filter machines last 3 months at a quarter the price for filters.

Emits a horrible off-gassing smell. Formaldehyde model of the Dyson emits it's own Formaldehyde
I'm very very disappointed in this model. The unit itself is emitting a toxic Formaldehyde smell. I've been running this unit for a few days now and the smell won't subside. The HCHO sensor is reading in the high green area ever since i got this unit. The smell is so bad that i feel like I can't breathe. And when the inside of my house heats up on a hot day, the smell from the Dyson smells even worse. I can't recommend any of their Formaldehyde units because this is the 2nd one I have purchased and they both have the exact same problem. I will have to return this and get the non- Formaldehyde unit (PC1).

easy set up and use
the only bad thing is cable black and hardwired to unit itself, very beautiful dyson has a basic cable like from toaster and no cable management built-in. Otherwise everything works as expected.

More of a purifier then a fan...
The plus? It looks nice! Very sleek and modern looking. It's super quiet - even oscillating it didn't rattle or make any extra noise. The features are great, it has lots of settings - can adjust the speed, the degree of oscillation (rotation) and even has a timer! I haven't played with the app yet but it's nice that it has one! The downside (in my opinion) - when I ordered this I thought it was both a purifier and fan. After setting it up and putting it on high I found the air flow to be very minimal... So I think it's more of a purifier that moves a bit of air then a fan with a purifier if that makes sense. The hubby went into the bedroom and came back out and asked if it was on low. Informed him no, it was on the highest setting... So that is a bit disappointing... I do believe I saw several things highlighting the amount of airflow so I was under the assumption it would have higher settings for much higher airflow. If you stand a few feet away you really can't feel much of the air flow. It is also VERY tall. So this is something that is probably most intended for being on the floor. Which isn't an issue but would be more versatile of it was a bit shorter so it could be placed on a stand or table. We did have another air purifier in the bedroom and will be running this instead to see if there is a noticeable difference.

Excellent purifier and fan with great app
I'll preface this with saying I've wanted a Dyson fan since I first saw their desk model in a store years ago, but their price point has always intimidated me. After finally getting a Dyson vacuum on sale, I started to understand what the hype about the brand was about. Make no mistake, this is expensive and a luxury item for sure, but it is feature packed. It's lightweight so as soon as I unpacked it I was able to carry it upstairs easily. This is good and bad in my opinion. I'm a little hesitant about longevity because of how light it feels, but I've had great luck with their vacuums so I'm hoping that carries to this. Setup of the unit was a breeze and it comes with a remote control so if you don't want to install the app, you don't have to. With that said, I think you're missing out on a ton by NOT using the app, but I'll get there in a minute. I like that the remote is a rose gold color so it's easily found, but wish the buttons had something to make them stand out more, whether visually or tactilely. In dim light there's no way I can see what's what and by touch it's hard. My husband didn't seem to have much trouble though so YMMV. Apparently you can also control it by voice controls, but I haven't set that up and it's through the app. On to the app. Set up was a breeze and it includes a QR code directly on the unit for downloading the app from both stores. You need an account and it only took a couple of minutes to set it up. If you provide your location (just city, mildly annoying I couldn't search by zip), it'll provide ambient data along with what it senses in the room. Our air quality was listed as "Fair". Without any guidance, I tapped on that and it took me to information. Everything on the screen is explained well as shown in the pics. If you enable history, it'll give you a ln air quality report over time, although it's unclear what will be included in that. Within a couple of hours the room quality went from "Fair" to "Good". At night, we used the fan and it has 360 oscillation. It's surprisingly powerful for how quiet it is and did a great job of cooling the room. It's highly customizable with schedules and such, but you can also just set it to "Auto" and let it do its thing. Overall I'm in love with this with just a couple of minor complaints: - I wish I could see a running history in the app. Another smart humidifier brand has that where I can see the air quality for the past 24hrs and past few days, but this doesn't seem to have that - the remote is too streamlined for me to use so the app is a necessity for me personally. My husband doesn't have that issue and prefers to keep using the remote - PRICE. This is the big kicker for me. It's highly advanced, but super pricey, which is to be expected for a Dyson. It's early, but I wish it felt a little more solid. If it helps with our allergies and asthma though, it'll be worth its weight in gold. If you can afford the splurge, give it a try for sure. I'm not sure if the improvements of this model over the "cheaper" one are gimmicky or not, but I did notice the air smelled cleaner in the room this morning and it absolutely felt cooler.
