**Q: There was a live bug in the rice and I can’t return?**

**Q: How much carbohydrates per serving?**
A: It’s rice.

**Q: how many cups of rice in 2.2lb package?**
A: The 2.2 lb (1 kilo) actually gets packaged as 2 ea. 500g (1.1 lb.) bags, sort of a floursack-type fabric, sort of rustic, but enclosed in a plastic outer wrap for shipping. In 1 of the 500g bags I got about 2 to 2 1/4 cups of rice -- I didn't measure it precisely because I was making paella and a few extra grains of rice won't matter. But it is very close to that -- you'll get at least 2 cups per cloth bag (4 cups from the full 1 kilo package) and a bit more, maybe 1/2 c.

**Q: What’s the difference between Bomba and paella rice?**
A: In my experience, they are essentially one and the same. Both short white rice used for the same. Both are Valencia rice used for paella 🥘.

I bought this for my first foray into making paella, and was very pleased. I wanted just a small bag of rice to see if we actually like this variety (we’re a foodie family with strong opinions on different types of rice; I don’t think normal people care as much about different rice varieties as we do, lol). This was excellent in paella. I have not tried it yet in other dishes, but we all found the flavor and texture to be excellent and it was easy to cook with.
