Top Class Motherboard for Demanding System Builders
Is this MB overkill? Oh yes it is! However, it's top class. I highly suggest this if you're looking to run a ton of M.2 drives. It's silly how many this board will do. If you're doing slow-mo video woth captures consisting of hundreds of GB data this thing is great for that. For gamers and enthusiasts the onboard display is very nice. The connectivity is awesome. Controlling LEDs and running a water cooling loop all work very nicely. I've also been impressed with the MSI app. It makes getting system info and configuring fans very easy!

You get what you pay for. Works in NZXT Flow H9
It's rare nowadays to pay so much for tech and have it be worth it. But this is indeed premium and worth it. I'm glad I paid the premium because this board was easy to set up. I was a bit worried with all the proprietary hubs. But they did make building my rig way faster and cleaner. The BIOS have plenty of settings and quick toggles to change performance. I only increase slightly tho. If you have an NZXT flow 9, you'll want to remove the cable management in order for the board to fit. I paid similar for an Asus board and returned it after seeing what the Godlike has to offer. It has every feature you could want and so many USB ports lol. And i think this is the only board you can find with 3 Thunderbolt ports (with the expansion card included). FYI, in order to change the second LCD, you'll need to download MSI Center.....which is still a terrible app to use -_- But hey, you can set videos and gifs on it so its cool.

MSI; Unacceptable lack of quality & terrible customer support.
MSI customer service refuses to assist troubles I am having, & have said they would escalate the support ticket then ghosted. Until they resolve the issue I am having, this will remain one star. As for the motherboard, aside for having software stored on the motherboard for installing to the Operating System afterward (which is a very not secure thing to do & could be open to exploitation based on what happened with Asus & Gigabyte boards), the motherboard itself is fantastic. It should be noted that MSI have taken the time to refresh their BIOS/UEFI with a new user interface that drastically improves the user experience. All features this motherboard should have are present, it even comes with a tracking chip so that you could find the board like you would your phone, car keys, watch, headphones, & so on; which is just absolutely impressive & convenient. This motherboard is the best board you could get & there is presently no motherboard or competition for this motherboard at this date & time. It comes with all the latest features, generations, & desired ports & slots. It could theoretically use one more PCIe slot, but MSI instead chose to put more M.2 slots. My only gripe with the board is that it would have been desired to have less M.2 slots or at-least have them not impact the PCIe lanes at all. Additionally, while not necessary, two 16x PCIe lanes would have been more than welcome in favor of sacrificing M.2 slots. However, for what was included, it's fine; personally, I have no intention to occupy enough M.2 slots though, so it would have been great to be able to disable them in favor of PCIe advantages. Edit September 20th, 2025: MSI finally resolved the issue I had with the product, provided two more stars. Edit October 13th, 2025: The physical DYNAMIC DASHBOARD III motherboard component is already malfunctioning not even three months later. After further research on the component, this has clearly not been the first time & certainly would not be the last time this component has apparently failed on many users for any reason. For a $1,400 USD motherboard, this is grossly & truly unacceptable. The component, which contains multiple ports for additional hardware, will disconnect & reconnect under a minute every minute endlessly. From what I could see, there is no way to disable the component, & doing so would likely render multiple additional yet necessary ports useless anyway. MSI provided a tool to attempt to repair the issue, but the tool has achieved no success upon use. The issue persists, & for the price, this truly is not worth the money for the lackluster quality you most likely will receive.

Best z890 you could get!
This motherboard looks great has all the visual bells and whistles like lcd screen and rgb lighting. I have the Lian li case lighting connected to it as well. 6400 MT/s ram runs at 6600 xmp 2. I have game mode on, ngu and d2d to 33, and max power settings on. CPU stays at 45c under max load. The 9100 4tb runs at 12,230 instead of 14,800 but no big deal computer is very fast, limitation of the z890 platform unfortunately. 285K's 24 cores is plenty for multitasking and 5070Ti is plenty of power for gaming. Top 2 usb ports connect directly to the CPU so use those for keyboard and mouse. Front usb c header on case connects directly to the 60 watt fast charging connector. It needs a separate power cable though. The motherboard is E-ATX and is quite large. System runs very stable!

MSI MEG Z890 GODLIKE WITH DUAL RADIATOR
This is my 5th motherboard since November 2024. It's shows me great performance, responsiveness and consistent normal cooling while using on a daily idle no gaming. I built a complex cooling with two 360mm x 30mm radiators, flow meter with Aquacomputer Flow Next to monitor water temperature, flow, CPU Temp and more. Also using Lian Li Fans with LCD to monitor and compare cooling sensors/gauges. I'm not OC expert but was very simple to clock the CPU (6200MHz on PCores with Intel Core I9-285K) and Memory (8000MHz GSkill 8400MHz CU-DIMM) using the AI with MSI Center app. Doesn't inlcude HDMI port but I'm using the Thunderbold 5 USB to HDMI additional with GTX 5070. During boot up never gave me any errors and never crashed. See pictures and videos. Recomended.
