Gardein Plant-Based Chick'n & Rice Soup, Vegan, 15 oz.

The soup is not only vegan, it’s absolutely delicious ! I would say the only negative is that it’s extremely salty, as most soups are. I’m hoping they will eventually come out with a lower salt version.

I’m not sure what people expect from a meat substitute, but this is a pretty good substitute. It doesn’t taste exactly like beef, of course, but it’s close enough. The “beef” texture is probably about as close as you can get with a substitute. The veggies were pretty good. If I had one complaint it might be that they were a little heavy on the tomato base. But overall pretty good fake beef soup & I will buy again.

These are really tasty, but they just have way too much sodium for one can of soup. I was floored when I saw the amount. That’s a days worth or pretty close. Every once in a while is fine but regularly you would struggle to stay healthy. If health isn’t a factor, have atcha. They’re super tasty. I’m glad I tried them and there truly is not much deviation from the real meat versions. The texture is on point, but the wedding soup is a bit more bland. Especially for something with so much salt. This check is yummy.

hello, I love this soup so much. it's low cal (200 cal per can) and it tastes exactly as it should. My housemate do complain that there is an odd smell to it but that doesnt stop me from eating it every day. Very expensive though jesus christ.
