**Q: What material is this product made of fabric or plastic?**
A: It's a "Foam" roller

**Q: Will it work for oil base paint?**
A: Yes, it will soften multiple layers of disparate finishes. I used it to strip 100+ year old wood that had wood filler, shellac, oil paint, and several layers of latex. It took two applications. I also used the special paper - it helps to keep the stripper & softening paint moister for a longer period of time. I used a plastic putty knife and a green scruffy pad with plain water to work off the goo. Have an old cardboard box nearby to collect the mush.  If you are doing it indoors, I would recommend some ventilation (open window & fan) cause is does have a slight chemical spell, especially up close.

**Q: Can high density foam rollers be used with polyester resins?**
A: No

**Q: Can I use it for metal surface?**
A: Yes.
