Does it work with elite series bullets?

Yes, it will work with all Elite series darts including the Zombie Strike green darts and the Nerf Rebelle darts.

As bob marley says, "we be jamming"... I just bought 2 of these for my kids, spent all night troubleshooting jamming. Am i doing something wrong?

The number one reason for jamming is not having the flywheels up to speed and keeping them up to speed. Make sure you hold down the flywheel trigger for about 2 seconds before you fire your first shot. After that allow a little time between shots because when it launches the dart, a little momentum is lost and it takes a fraction of a second to regain full power. Also be sure darts are loaded evenly and uniformly. Also be sure your batteries are fully charged. I keep extras ready to go. Rechargeables are great, but they peak at 1.4volts and most run about 1.2 volts. Alkaline batteries start at about 1.5 to 1.6 and drop slowly to about 1.2 at which time they are about done. You can also look for NiZn batteries which are overvoltage and run at 1.6 to start, are rechargeable and drop to about 1.4 for most of the time. They also have the advantage of more rapid recovery between shots. Good luck!

I'm looking to purchase a x mas gift for my nephew. could a 5 year old play with this nerf gun? or is it too big?

If you watch coop772s vid on the ECS-10 you can see how big it is and he's 6'3 and it still looks big so it's not good for a five year old
