This is an amazing little machine, cooks popcorn to perfection. On first use you have to discard the first batch you make due to first time use otherwise it tastes a bit strange after that it’s perfect. I have bought popcorn flavours such as sweet caramel salted caramel and tried melted butter and it comes out as good as theatre popcorn. So pleased I found this product highly recommend and at such a good price too.

This makes incredible popcorn. Something about the combination of stirring the kernels whilst they are getting hot, being able to put salt (or I presume sugar) in with them, and adding butter to the lid so it drips through gradually all comes together to make popcorn that is a perfect combination of fluffy and crisp.It's easy to clean also, and fully non stick.The not so good:There's a cap you're supposed to be able to put on the lid once the popcorn is ready so you turn the lid upside down - into a bowl - and use it for eating without (presumably) butter/oil/bits coming through the holes for butter application whilst cooking. Mine simply failed at that task entirely. Like it won't attach and stay on. It's a hard type of plastic and doesn't even fit properly.Also, the clear plastic bowl is really brittle. It's my fault, but even with a degree of care when washing it up I managed to crack it.

This machine was awful. The video shows a magical bowl of popcorn made from half a scoop. Reality is that to get more than a handful of popcorn you end up with a burnt mess.

This is a review of the Gadgy® Popcorn Machine Maker Round - 800W Popcorn Maker Machine just to be clear as some of the reviews mention wifi and moving files from their computer etc. The popcorn maker was good and once I figured out how to use it worked well. Basically you put the oil in, then put the popcorn in, put the lid/bowl on and turn it on then pop some butter into the top of the lid after removing the black cover. A side not here. this lid is meant to go on after so you can use the top as a bowl. But once the lid is warm this keeps falling off, there needs to be some sort of locking mechanism like a twist and lock ideal like how a food processor locks on. Once your popcorn has stopped popping turn it off immediately. The hot steam inside should have melted the butter and let is drip onto the popcorn evenly. Replace the black lid and turn over both the lid and the non stick plate. Clean the plate with a damp cloth or kitchen tissue. and sit down and enjoy your bowl of popcorn. Now a word of caution. When popcorn burns it burns horribly. My first batch was burned because I was trying to melt the butter and get all the kernels to pop. Trust that they will be popped and that the butter will get where it needs to be by letting the steam off the popcorn melt it. It's better to have a few unpopped kernels than a bowl of burnt popcorn. update: I've found a problem with this popcorn maker. The bottom falls off the bowl when you turn it over. The final straw was when I turned it over and the bottom fell off and the butter went everywhere all over the element which was still hot. and the top dropped off and onto the element. after scrambling to cut the power It had melted onto the bars. This is such a silly problem which could easily have been fixed by making it a twist and lock top or bottom. This renders the item useless so I will be not using it anymore. This is a shame because of that top and a few health and safety problems with the exposed element I would have continued to use it. I will have to check to see if I can return it.

This is amazingly good ! Works perfectly, you have to be careful as v hot & be prepared with an oven cloth to turn out onto the bowl’s lid so popcorn doesn’t burn.

Not impressed by the turnout method. Have ordered a air pop corn maker and will give this one to charity.

Very easy to operate. Popcorn was cooked evenly with only a few kernels not opening. I was so impressed with the quickness of cleaning the machine. Overall I would give this product 8 out of 10. Iv also now bought one for my son as its a healthy alternative to have.
