It tastes a bit funky, but I don't buy this for the flavor, but if I add a banana, it's fine. I use a blender and either milk or water.

Had previously purchased several of these – 2 in October 2021 & 2 in January 2022 – which were all fine but this time it has a strong, unnatural chemical odor immediately upon opening which it continues to have after opening, so we may have wasted time ordering it and may have to waste more time to return the 3 we just now purchased in September 2022. At least a couple of other reviews have gotten the same chemically-contaminated awful surprise. Tried to open the other 2 containers we received and now the problem became the lids were impossible to remove even with a strap wrench, so all these problems may be due to packaging problems in which the glue for the removable seal may have infused the whey with the awful chemical smell and otherwise leaked onto the screw-tops of the other 2 to glue them shut. Before simply returning all 3 to Amazon I took the time to call the Amazing Formula company and was told someone would get back to me. Let's see what they may have to say.FOLLOW UPLeft 2 messages for Amazing Nutrition and they never returned the calls. They've resolved the problem some others have mentioned of being rude on the phone by having hired an answering service which is very polite but just assures you your call will be returned though the calls are never returned. After trying again with the strap wrench to open the other 2 container finally confirmed that glue getting where it wasn't supposed to go had been preventing the screw lids from coming off (see pics). The first container still has a chemical smell after being opened weeks ago but the same smell from one of the other containers seemed to dissipate when left open for a couple of days and so we started consuming it since we'd run out of whey. Since the company never got back to us we don't trust consuming any more than what we've started having to consume out of necessity, so we're returning 2 of the 3 containers we'd received. If it's just a simple mistake of the glue used on the removable seal causing the chemical smell which can harmlessly dissipate by leaving it open for a while, the company could just admit it but since they're not we don't want to speculate that the chemical smell is a sign of something worse by consuming any more of the product than we're having to.

I love this stuff! Just as it says, unflavored and no weird chalk-like aftertaste. Although not my thing to drink with just water. I prefer flavor so i have to add some while others may feel they can drank it as is. So these are the things I picked up on right off the bat.1. Instead of looking grainy like most similar products, it actually looks more like a powder.2. It mixes really well. I can finally use a spoon instead of protein mix shake bottles.3. i can add this to foods I make as well. Now i can have protein with everything.3. When adding it with milk (regular or chocolate) it did not alter the taste at all. In fact with the milk i have been eating cereal and its as if I never put anything in it. I can now eat coco pebbles and still get all the proteins.4. I added this with ice cream... Nuff said... So good!I was a little skeptical at first. The product is new and no one has commented on it. Im the first one writing a review. but I'm actually glad I purchased this product and plan to add it to my normal routine orders. Amazing Formulas indeed. Edit: I purchased the unflavored and it is much better than the vanilla. I think this brand is an excellent value, that's why I wanted to give it another chance.---------Original post:The taste is so bad I can barely stand to swallow it.I bought it because it was a great deal, and now I see why. I've never tried this brand and I bought vanilla because it was a few dollars cheaper than the chocolate, which is what I always choose. Big mistake! I'll be lucky to finish the whole 5lbs of this. I cant seem to mask the awful taste. Hopefully, the chocolate flavor isn't this bad, but honestly, I probably just wont buy the brand again. Shame.

I have almost no sugar in my diet. This product with Organic sweeteners was much too sweet for me.

I've read reviews where there was an issue with the glue in sealing this product. Mine was only half sealed under the lid. The seal wasn't bent, so I took my chances and started using it. The product seems fine, and tastes good. No bad odor, but after having opened it a week ago and putting the lid on tight every time after use, it's actually already starting to smell a little aged. Not sure what to think of this company, especially with complaints about lack of customer service response, but I think I'll try a different company next time. I can't afford to make mistakes.
