What process is used to decaffeinated the coffee?

July 2022: THEY USE WATER PROCESS: I was confused as the Amazon description was different than the prior customer service response so I emailed Peet's directly from their website. GREAT NEWS! This was part of the reply I received "In August 2021 Peet's began using the water process to decaffeinate all of our bagged coffee and K-cups in response to customer requests. This is commonly referred to as the "Swiss water process" which is only 1 of the water process companies that we work with. With the water process, coffee beans are soaked in water to remove the caffeine. The beans are then removed from the bath, dried, and ready for roasting, leaving minimal caffeine on the bean. " It continued to say that all bags and boxes will be printed to say that in the coming months.

am still waiting for a package of peets coffee, you charged me almost 3 times the cost. When shall I expect my decaf coffee?

I'd like to try peet's when it's fresh. how can i get a bag that's not about to expire or is it just a matter of luck? thanks.

I get my coffee (K-cups and bags) at Publix or Walmart and they have all been fresh. We are fortunate to have a Peet’s coffee shop in Chattanooga so when we are there we get products from them. Never had old tasting coffee.

The Peet's website indicates all decaf is decaffeinated via water process. Is this a change, if so, when did the change occur?
