Wings of Fire: A Winglets Collection The First Three Stories (#1: Prisoners, #2: Assassin, #3: Deserter) Paperback – January 1, 2016

This serious is mind blowing, I got this for mu daughter and she couldn’t take it off. She loves reading it so much that she has finished the entire series twice and looking to repeat it.

I thought the price was expensive for the small book that I received. But, this is my daughters favorite author/series, so I got it anyway.

Let me start this review by saying this book is part of my all time favorite series (Wings of Fire). So I may be a little biased when I say I loved this book. That being said, I did not like the first story about Fierceteeth all that much. But the next two about Deathbringer and Dune were great! The format and stories flowed right in with the main Wings Of Fire series. I already own the digital versions of all of these, but recommend buying a hard copy to mark up.

The Wings of Fire book series were a special gift to spark interest in reading books. Madison is definitely hooked on the whole series. I am going to get her started on the Winglet series while we are waiting on book #14 of the Wings of Fire availability.

My daughter loves this series and wanted to see what the graphic novels were like. Now she loves these as well. It uses just the dialogue from the original novels and has beautiful artwork.

This is a Scholastic edition shipped from the UK, not in print in the US? It's a thin book with cheap Scholastic book-fair/book-club quality production, hence 1 star docked. My daughter finished the book in a few hours. She loves the Wings of Fire books and says the Winglets stories, of which there are 3 in this book, "are really good", and take place before the Wings of Fire series. Readers new to the series might like to start here for an introduction to the Wings of Fire world, before moving on to the main books.
