Had to give our cat calcium tablets. The dose was half a tablet at a time. Not only was it simple to cut the tablet, but having the ability to crush it made it so easy to mix into her food. This crusher does not have serated faces on the base of the crusher and on the the piece that screws in. As a result it will partially break up the pills but not produce a powder.

We had previously been crushing pills with a hammer which was troublesome. This crushers works perfectly with much less mess. The cutter is also better than the last one we had purchased.

ピルカッターはいくつか試しましたがこれが一番です。ごく普通の簡易ピルカッター&クラッシャー、ピルケースが一つになっただけの物ですが、それが良いところです。毎日使うので普通にちゃんと使えることがありがたいです。猫の薬やサプリ用、カリカリおやつ用、２つ持っています。以下、類似品と比べてみて、良かった点をいくつか書いてみます。・薬がセットしやすく、ズレにくいので、狙った場所でカットできる。・刃が真ん中に真っ直ぐついていて、きちんと等分することができる。( 他のピルカッターは刃が左右どちらかに寄っていたり、曲がっているものが多かったので、それをふまえた位置に薬を置いて…と、ちょっと手間がかかっていました。たまたま良いものに当たったのかもしれませんが、いまのところハズレなしです。)・薬をたくさん入れておける。( ピルカッター部分を本体から引っこ抜いた所に、薬を入れることができます。本来この部分は服薬時のコップとして使うようですが、容量が大きく密閉性が高いので、じゃらじゃらと薬を入れています。底の蓋を開けると、仕切りで４つに分けられたピルケースがあります。こちらは浅く小さなスペースなので、カットした薬や、少量の薬を入れるのに丁度いいです。)シンプルですが、あるとちょっと便利です。
