Perfect thread storage
This came unassembled but putting it together was simple - we just needed to supply wood glue. I now have cotton reels of various sizes all out of sight and well organised. It fits my kallax perfectly with just a little wiggle room. I don't need a second one, but it would be good if they did something like this but with optional 'insides'. I'm delighted. Five stars in every way.

HOLDS LOTS OF REELS
I BROUGHT 3 OF THESE AND COVERED THEM IN FABRIC AND RIBBONS,ITS FUN DECORATING THEM AND THEY CERTAINLY HOLD LOTS OF COTTON REELS BUT SOME OF MY REELS WERE TO TALL TO FIT.BIT TRICKY TO PUT TOGETHER AND I RECOMMEND GLUEING ALL THE PARTS .ONCE GLUED THE BOX IS QUITE STRONG .

Takes ages to assemble
Its comes flat packed. Yes. Including the pegs your bobbins are going to sit on which all need gluing and hammering in. All 98 of them. So if you have the patience of a Saint then this is the bobbin case for you. It looked like pine to me in the picture but its actually cheap chipboard or MDF. That won't stop it being functional but I was a bit disappointed that it won't really match my sewing box. On the plus side my threads will be neatly organised now, and there are 20 spare pegs left over which will no doubt come in handy for something.

Great product, Great price.
This is the second of this product I have bought to store all my sewing machine thread spools in...fits 98 in total. Since I tend to buy at least two of the same colour whenever I need to buy thread you can imagine that it didn't take me long to fill it...hence buying a second! It is very easy to assemble; the only time consuming bit is glueing each of the 98 pegs in their holes, but even that doesn't take long. I used Gorilla Wood Glue in assembling the box and glueing the pegs in...rock solid in less than 24hrs. Once assembled, it can be painted or varnished. Once I've amassed 196 spools of thread I will hopefully have enough...but hey, you never know, I might need to buy another!

I love this spool storage
I do love this spool holder, but there are things a little annoying but not biggy.. First when you try to put the box together there are no hinges with screws,, or nails to hold it, but I sorted the inconvenience applying super glue for all the parts to stick, right at the corners; second the little wooden pins to hold the spools in small holes inside the box, keep falling off, when i tried to place the box in a vertical position, so i would have to use the glue for those as well, i would also have liked a little slide door for the front to protect my spools from the accumulation of dust, also i would have liked for the spool pins to be a little longer but maybe i can buy longer ones, will see. Overall I really this storage is ideal for me, especially the trays, very practical, i think I'm gonna buy another one. I recommend it definitely.

Just the job
Having started machine embroidery I wanted something to store the threads to keep them separate from normal sewing thread. So I bought 2 of these. Easy to put together. I used some wood glue then left them overnight. They could do with being a few mm higher because Moon threads are too tall to fit in them which is a shame as I have loads and defeats the object a wee bit. Other than that they look really good sat on my shelf and keeps dust and fluff off the threads. I will get round to painting them with chalk paint at some time in the future.

Great Idea but Completely Useless. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
This is a great idea but completely useless. The dowels do not go into the holes deep enough so they fall out, even with gluing in place the6 fall out. Also it isn’t tall enough to hold a spool of thread. Not enough dowels to fit every hole. Don’t waste your money. Load of c**p.

Petites et moyennes bobines passent bien bonne quantité de bobines.

Les finitions laisse à désirer et ce n’est pas assez haut pour mes petites bobines
