what is the purpose of the after shampoo liquid

I think the after liquid, along with caffeine and menthyl, is a leave in and stimulates the scalp. the shampoo is only on for a minute or two the lquid says on until you wsh your hair again. I think it is more inmportant than the shampoo is.

Without making any unsupported medical claims, It's very refreshing for my sensitive scalp. I can't even use most hand/bath soaps on my body at all. My shampoo of choice has been head & shoulders for years. The minty oils and caffeine are really tingly and refreshing feeling on my scalp...I've never felt so good with any dandruff shampoo!
