NEWGO Hip Ice Pack Wrap for Hip Replacement Surgery Recovery, Black

3 days after my hip replacement and this is one of the best bits of kit in my post-op armoury. Well made, flexible and it stays in place. The velvet lining makes it comfortable to wear. It has really helped reduce the swelling. I would highly recommend.

After my hip replacement, I realized that balancing a bag of frozen peas on my hip was a losing battle—mostly because peas don't have straps and they tend to "migrate." It’s slim and non-slip, meaning I can actually hobble around the kitchen without it sliding down to my ankles. The long straps are sturdy enough to give a secure "death-grip" on the swelling, and the short-neck design of the gel pack ensures it hits the bursitis sweet spot perfectly. It stays cold for ages, which is more than I can say for my old frozen peas. If you're dealing with hip pain, do yourself a favour—buy this and keep your vegetables for Sunday roast instead.

I’ve awarded a 4 star , it does do what it’s intended for , you can heat it up or put it in the freezer , when it’s been in the freezer it is still flexible when you take it out to put in on , I have AS and bi lateral radiographic sacraliitis amongst other things , the only problem I have encountered is the bell pad itself could do with being a bit longer by about another 2-3 inches that way it could wrap around the hip area better , the securing straps are long ( I am 5ft 6 and 12.5 stone with a 30-32 inch waist )

This lasts about 20 mins as ice pack fits well but leg strap way too long. I managed to move around wearing it

It was exactly what I needed I wish it was a little bit larger but it got the job done!!! Nice material and right after surgery it was better than what the hospital offered… m

Fits well, lasts longer than ice, and easy to put on the hip.

These work perfectly for icing a hip replacement but would work for many areas. Stays cold for longer than you need to do the job. Very versatile! I bought two so he would always have one ready to go but not sure I needed to. Happy with the purchase!!

Fits well and ices the whole hip!

I had a hip replacement and this ice pack is great for icing! We are rotating 3 of them to give them time to refreeze between applications. The straps really help to hold the pack securely where it needs to be. Haven’t tried using them as heat treatment yet, but that will come.
