Book arrived in great condition. Received exactly what I was looking for.

I rarely purchase a book without getting a sneak peak inside first. Alas I took a gamble with this book. Absolutely no photos of the garments showing how they fall on an actual human body. Just drawing and sketches. The styles look like 70s and 80s but could be adapted for more modern outfits.Also sometimes shows a sketch but absolutely nothing about the pattern you would use to construct it. For example in the gowns section there are 3 drawings of gowns. Two of which are very outdated. THe one more modern timeless gown is not addressed in any form. It is the one item that I would have given the book a higher rating if it had been included. If you do not have any other books to refer to you might not be disappointed. Ill keep the book but considering how old all of the content is, despite the "updates" I feel like Ive been ripped off. At half the price I would have given it 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded.  I am very disappointed of how damaged my book is:( I ordered this book for one of my college classes. I am a student and don’t have much money to be spending but I needed the book. I was excited to receive my brand new textbook, except when I received the packaging was torn and so was the plastic and the textbook itself was damaged. The condition in what I received my book was not worth what I spent (more than $100) :(

Instantly started falling apart. The cover is only connected in the front and I am loosing pages from the back.

I liked the book. It is clear as Connie Crawford always is. That being said, it is falling out of its binding -coming apart from the cover and for the price, I expected it to be spiral bound. Or, at least hold together for more than a week. The description of the binding was not clear-to me.So now I will have to incur the additional cost of rebinding/ spiral. Again, although content is good-it disappointing for the price due to the binding issue.
