10 inches is a great height for leg elevation.
This elevation pillow is definitely worth the money. It's an ideal height for elevation. It really helps with ankle swelling along with ice packs. Very supportive and comfortable. Would highly recommend. I can't speak about sleeping while using it, but I do use it before I go to bed for half an hour to 45 minutes.

A game changer for swollen feet and legs
This has been an absolute pain saver for me. Plus, my legs and feet were getting so swollen for a while there and trying this wedge has changed everything for me. Not only does my back feel so much better but no more swollen legs or feet. I think it is well worth the price for what you get. Its the perfect size for 2 legs to lay on comfortably and its so comfy. I wouldn't be able tk sleep without it now. Great support and no foul chemical smell right out of the box.
