I've been using an Edgemaker sharpener/honer for more than 20 years and have enjoyed how easy it has made it to maintain sharp knives and garden tools. It's so easy to get the angle right on an Edgemaker, something that isn't nearly as simple with a whet stone or honing steel. I also like that it can be stored in a drawer instead of taking the counter space that an electric appliance needs.I've lately found myself having to use the Edgemaker every time I used my favorite prep knife. Thinking the blade might need re-beveling, I ordered this set from Edgemaker that includes the restoration tool. It did the trick. My favorite Victorinox chef and utility knives are like new again.

These work better than advertised/described. With very little work, old dull beyond belief knives come back into a good edge profile with the blue tool and then the other tool makes them super sharp. These cure the problem that I had before - I could never keep a knife and sharpener at the right angle to keep a consistent sharp edge. It is very hard to make a mistake with these, and people who don't know anything at all about knife sharpening have no trouble using the tools to sharpen knives. This is a simple, no-brainer process that additionally is pretty safe from cutting fingers and hands during the process. If you are even close to using these per instructions, you aren't able to cut yourself.

Fast sharpening

I purchased one of the original ones many years ago from a gun show, after using it thousands of times I have finally wore it out and I must say I was not sure the quality would be as good as the original but I am very pleased to see it is just as good.I think many people believe that this is primarily a sharper but it is a easy to use butchers steel.It takes the blade edge back to the center of the knife ( it fixes the edge roll).I would definitely recommend this product for easy way to get the most out of your knifes.

Works great. Easy to use and makes blades sharp in about 15 seconds.Put it on a sharped edged table and draw the knife to you with a little pressure, a dee passes on coarse and then fine. Wish i bought this years ago. The difference it makes on our old Martha Stuart blades is enourmous.

I bought these for my husband & he loves them! They sharpen really well, & fast. They are easy to use as well.

Very simple to use and will sharpen most knifes to a very sharp edge. People bring their knifes to me to sharpen.

I am so excited to be able to sharpen my yard tools without hurting myself or asking my husband to do it. You can figure out how to use it for each tool. Just don't overdo it. I also use it on my knives in the kitchen that can't be sharpened with the rod.
