Such a great product, bought a second.
This review is coming from the father. After having twins born 2 months premature, we were left scrambling for things we hadn't yet purchased, one of which was a bottle warmer. After doing a good amount of research and reading several reviews, I landed on this bottle warmer. I'm a big Amazon user (I buy hundreds of things a year) but am not normally a reviewer (I've only written a couple). However, I feel like this product deserves one. We liked it so much we ended up buying a second. It works well, though not as well as advertised. 3 minutes is pretty quick, but even now that they're 5 months old, we can heat 4oz of formula from the fridge in 6 mins. The water heats up really fast. It's simple and has held up to being used several times a day, every day. The only complaint I have is that the knob feels a little loose, but that's it. Great product and has held up to plenty of use. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a simple, basic warmer that will last you a long time.

Great Thermostic Controlled Hide Glue Heater
This warmer is controlled by a thermostat that works quite well, and if turned full "on" will get quite hot. It heats up very fast, like the vintage "Hot Shot" water heaters for beverages. I used a Taylor digital probe type thermometer to test it out for heating and maintaining luthiers Hide glue at 150 degrees F. The water bath, filled to the internal fill line with room temp water, reached 150 degrees in 2:46 and 170 in 5 minutes. Added a glass Avent Brand 4 oz baby bottle filled to 5 ounces with the nipple attached. Starting with tap water, found the 150 and 160 degree position of the controller knob at about the 1 and 2 O'clock positions respectively and marked the positions with a pencil line. The warmer heated the water in the bottle to 150 degrees in 15:45 minutes and maintained it very well. Using the glass baby bottle adds thermal mass that helps regulate the temperature of the water extremely close to the "set" temperature. And the lid (with nipple) even acts as a pressure release. I just marked the 150 and 160 degree settings with a sharpie. 150 degrees will be right in the middle. This should be a very good, fast Hide glue warmer and should be great for baby bottle warmer if one reads the instructions. It will work fantastic for a Hide glue pot, heating the glue in the Avent baby bottle.

Fast heating!
I don’t know a THING about bottle warmers, but I decided I’d get one to test it out and see if it would make my first time mom job any easier. I bought this for around twenty bucks on Amazon, so not out of the budget at all. I read a few reviews and saw that this works with other branded bottles as well. I recently purchased a bunch of Avent bottles because that seems to be the only bottle my son likes and that work for us. So I haven’t used any other brands yet in the warmer, but this has been very effective! I’ve noticed it warms breastmilk up a LOT quicker than formula. The only thing I’d recommend is really watching the time and making sure you take it out on time. It can get really hot, really quick and it will take an awfully long time to cool down which can make it a bit stressful if you’ve got a hungry baby! Overall I love this product and I’ve got no complaints! Make sure to read all the instructions so you don’t end up with burnt milk or a ruined bottle!

and I think this is a pretty decent bottle warmer though I haven’t had any other ...
This review is for the FAST model. FTM here, and I think this is a pretty decent bottle warmer though I haven’t had any other experience to compare. Pretty easy to use, I love how wide it is and that there is a cord keeper at the bottom. I was adamant on using the Avent bottles for feeding as I liked how wide they were and this warmer is of course designed to work perfectly with those. Disadvantage though is that there isn’t a timer or an auto shut off option. You really have to watch it to make sure your bottle doesn’t overheat, and you must remember to turn it off when done with use. My baby is 2 months old and is eating more and more but I’m still afraid to use any other heat setting other than the half bottle. We use both the glass and plastic Avent bottles and both heat just as well, though I find that I prefer the glass as it is a little better at protecting the milk from overheating. It’s also hard to see where the milk line is on your bottle when it’s in the warmer so you have to kind of estimate how much water to add. Overall I got this for a very reasonable price, so I can’t complain too much about it as it was so much more expensive at the department Baby stores. It does what it’s supposed to, and since my baby is on formula we aren’t using this too much since we make her bottles right before feeding as much as we can.

Great for the price!
This has been a great purchase for me! The price was great. It warms the milk up fast! I just prefer it over the hot water in a bowl technique. I just get a small container of water, but the bottle in, and fill in some water. For the hot water in a bowl technique I found myself running water for a very long time to keep the bowl hot and it seems to always take a really long time for that bottle to warm up. Two issues: One- it won’t let you know when the bottle is ready. It’ll just keep warming it and warming it. To a point where if you forget, it’ll make it very hot! Two- it doesn’t work for all bottles. But read on to see how I solved these problems for myself! I now always set a timer for the milk, and I use a normal thermometer to dip in and check the temp! Easy enough... The bottles not fitting. I use the playtex drop in liner bottles. And they really don’t fit well. But, I pump. And I store my milk in freezer milk bags or the bottles that came with my breast pump. And those fit perfectly fine! So I just warm the milk in those. And once they reach the right temp, I transfer to the bottle! So, no, the thing is not fool proof, but it works and I’m perfectly happy with this product! Haven’t used it for anything other than milk yet. I saw you can warm baby food as well.

Works well, but confusing to use and needs a timer.
For 2 months now, I have owned both this Avent bottle warmer and one by Kiinde ([ASIN:B005G3QSF2 Kiinde Kozii Bottle Warmer and Breast Milk Warmer]). Neither one is ideal, but these are the two most popular warmers on the market, so I will compare them for you in this review. AVENT'S PROS --Warms quickly. The Kiinde takes much longer to warm and uses a lot more water. --Easy to fill. You just put the bottle inside the warmer and pour water up to the level of the milk or the baby food in the bottle. The Kiinde has a tank into which water bizarrely disappears. You only know you have overfilled the tank when you turn the warmer on and suddenly all the water comes bubbling up and overflows. AVENT'S CONS --No timer or temperature sensor. If you get distracted, the Avent will keep boiling your milk until all of it is gone and the bottle is burning. The Kiinde has a timer. As a parent with an active toddler and an infant to worry about, it is VERY helpful to have a timer just in case I get distracted. --Confusing markings. Instead of having time or temperatures or some other easily readable markings, the Avent has illustrations. Some illustrations are supposed to be of a half full bottle, a full bottle, and other configurations of food. Other illustrations are supposed to be of fully warm or partially warm food. Good luck figuring out at first what in the world is going on with these markings. What if you have a partly full bottle that you want to warm fully? The instruction manual is no help. I use just one setting because the others baffle me. Verdict: If I had to choose one, I would choose the Kiinde because of the timer and the clear markings (turn the dial to a time and that's it). I wish the Kiinde was as easy to fill up with water as the Avent, however.

Perfect for our purposes!
We use this bottle warmer with Avent Natural Glass Bottles. With these bottles we generally leave the bottle warmer set just a little bit higher than the "keep warm" setting, since glass is a better heat conductor than plastic we've always found that the contents of glass bottles heat more quickly and it would be quite easy to overheat the milk if it was set any higher. Typically we give our baby a small bottle 10-15 minutes after she wakes up from her last nap of the day and a full bottle of milk just before bed. We like that if we put the first small bottle in when she wakes up it is perfect by the time she wants her bottle and that if we put the bedtime bottle in before we leave for our after supper walk the second bottle is always the perfect temperature by the time we get home from the walk. Also, when setting it just above the keep warm setting I know it's done when I can hear the heating element turning on and off by the subtle clicking sound. Steam travelling up the bottle can affect the seal but we just make sure that the lid is staying on properly before giving the bottle to the baby (any moisture betweent the glass and silicone can seriously compromise the seal). We haven't had any problems with this product, but it's worth noting cold glass bottles should not be heated too suddenly.

Very good one
Using it for few weeks without switching off and it works better than other one which I bought earlier. I like that it doesn’t get switched off automatically as I’m using it 24/7 to warn the water for formula. It’s heating pad is great, different regimes work good. So it serves the purpose and I recommend it. It works better with wide bottles as the water gets to required temperature faster.
